OR Homes 3 months agoI have had the pleasure of working with OpenRemodel on two distinct projects. The initial endeavor in 2020 involved a design-only project for a single-family house in East Bay, encompassing 2000 sqft of new additions and remodels. The subsequent project, located in the Peninsula, is a design-and-build project to expand an old house into a 2600-sqft stylish house through both new additions and remodels, with its building permit issued about one month ago. My experience with OpenRemodel has been very positive. Their commitment to delivering high-quality design work efficiently and promptly stands out. The team’s responsiveness to my inquiries and requests underscores their professionalism and dedication to client satisfaction. Moreover, OpenRemodel consistently presents professional and varied options, empowering me to make informed decisions that align with my interests, including cost considerations, project timelines, and specific requirements. Overall, my experience with OpenRemodel have been very satisfactory, marked by their excellent service, adept design capabilities, and client-centered approach. Update on March 25,2024: I will start the construction with OpenRemodel on April 1st, 2024. I gave them the start date two weeks in advance and they are able to start on the date I requested. They said they could start the construction after 3 days of permit approval, which is a good benefit for home owners. I can trust this, based on my experience with them.

Ochre Homes 2 months agoWe are so glad we chose to remodel our new home with Ochre Homes. We were scared of embarking on this work because of the horror stories we had heard from our friends. But OH team put our fears to rest in the very first meeting. They helped us with the tough decisions, negotiations and got us great discounts. Most of all they met with the contractor everyday and helped finish our project in a timely and seamless way. Their contractor and his team were skilled, respectful and accommodated our requests. Highly recommend!

Nilsene Builder 6 months agoWe hired Nilsene Builder (NBI) to build our house (complete re-build). Moe and team were wonderful to work with throughout the entire process and even after worked was completed and we moved in (for follow-up questions and requests). Our house was completed on-time and on budget. The craftsmanship was excellent and we are truly enjoying our new house.
