J & M Refacing Inc a week agoSmall kitchen remodel. New cabinets, counters, etc. They measured project wrong. Off 4″ one way, 7″ the other. Reordered one cabinet because it extended past window 4″ and they had to. Other way was 7″ short so just cobbed in some pull out spice cabinets to fill the space instead of ordering the correct cabinets that we were supposed to get. The doors didn’t match. Made new doors, but paint didn’t match the cabinets. Tried repainting. Didn’t match. Finally ordered doors from the cabinet company so they would match. Backsplash glass tile job was a disaster. Tile guy chipped every tile he cut, but put them up anyways. Some are crooked. Installed tile and grouted same day. Grout had pin holes and cracks the very next day. Also not very punctual. Didn’t show up for days and sometimes weeks at a time, even when they were scheduled. Ended up getting a discount on the job, but not enough to offset the grief of 3 1/2 months that this project took to install. They started demo on 9-12-22 and finally finished the job on 12-28-22. They claimed we were too picky, but this was an expensive job and we definitely didn’t get what we were told at the beginning. Would not recommend to anyone. Update: 7-4-2024. Just rode by. Sign in window. Closed as of 6-25-24, Retired. Good riddance.

Getchell Builders & Home 10 years agoDo not use Getchell Builders & Home for anything related to your house. Bill Getchell uses a skeleton crew and doesn’t have a crew on payroll. Which means for the payer you get non-skilled workers! Bill Getchell won’t even call you back when things go wrong with his ‘skeleton crews’ so called job. Avoid this contractor/builder at all cost because believe me it will cost you more for a skilled worker to come and fixed his crews mistakes. Oh yea Bill Getchell will show up at the job with his truck to promote his business or one of the two people actually on his payroll but that is all you will see from him. Take a look at several of the strip malls in Marinette yea those are the works of his Skeleton Crew…..leaks anyone? You guess it those roofs leak! Stay away from this builder!!

Barber’s Building & Remodeling 8 months agoBrent does impeccable work. He has a critical eye for details, exacting standards and the skills to do an excellent job. We had our struggles with timeliness, but at the end of the day, the quality is what matters, and he does really outstanding work. If you are looking for a very talented builder, I doubt you can find better. If you just want the job slapped together quickly, this isn’t the way to go.

Panske Trim a Tree 2 months agoVery reasonable and professional. I couldn’t tell they were here except the trees were gone. This is the second time I’ve used them and would use them again if the need arises.
