Reg and Victor are amazing! They are an incredible team and have decades of knowledge and experience. The entire process was very smooth and they were very easy and flexible to work with. The project came in under budget and on time. The billing was transparent and any questions were addressed and answered quickly. We have done a few different home remodels / projects over the years and realize many times you “get what you pay for”. We were interested in high quality although were working within a budget. We found them to be reasonably priced with exceptional quality (I am very detailed oriented). They always were a pleasure to work with and we have zero regrets. We would use them again in a heartbeat. Top notch and tremendous people. They get our highest recommendation. -Robin and Jennell

Over the years, I have worked with various architects, builders, designers, and subcontractors on major remodeling projects, and none have come close to the excellence of Urban Restoration. Victor Ruzhin, principal for UR remodel, provides service beyond expectations. From conception to completion, Victor and his team have been responsive, on time, meticulous, and courteous. Every member of the UR team is highly skilled and respectful. UR’s craftsmanship and artistry refreshed my mid-century home beautifully while maintaining its integrity. MIchelle Wilkins, independent designer, was equally outstanding. She created the overall aesthetic and selected high-quality materials. She frequently appeared onsite and oversaw work in progress, ensuring that every detail was perfect. Visitors to my newly remodeled home always remark on the beauty and quality of the restoration. Most importantly, Urban Restoration takes care of its clients, during construction and after the project is completed. I give Urban Restoration the highest recommendation and plan to use them again in the near future.

My husband and were planning a master suite renovation and it was suggested by our designer Provanti Designs to meet with Urban Restoration. We met with the owner Reg who listened to what we wanted as well as our concerns which Reg immediately laid to rest by outlining a basic plan to start out which included investigating what lay behind one particular wall before any quote was done. This impressed us both and after said invesigation was done, we agreed on a price and timeline. There were some minor budget changes along the way (due to us requesting additional work) which were dealt with via the BuilderTrend app which was a great tool to have as we could see what was going on at all times. The communication from the UR staff was outstanding and nothing was too much trouble. (I actually don’t think anyone at UR knows how to say no to a client request). UR have some tradespeople on staff who are all amazing workers and very detail oriented, several of whom were regulars in our home throughout the entire renovation but I have to give a shout out to the tiling contractors that UR brought in. They were incredibly meticulous and as we had a lot of tile with grooves that had to be lined up, we were over the moon with their efforts and the results. All tradespeople were always on time and any mess was cleaned up on a daily basis both inside and outside the house. We love our new bedroom and bathroom, it is simply stunning and if we ever consider a new renovation, our first call will be to Urban Restoration.

Victor and his crew did several jobs at our home throughout the years. They are always professional, courteous, and clean. Any work that was done by them was always to perfection, and well worth rhe price, and then some. I was never disappointed. I only wish he could come out to my new house and help me with some repairs there in Chicago LOL

Urban Restoration (UR) is the real deal. UR far exceeded our expectations on a recent remodel. We used UR to remodel our Matthew’s Beach home, after seeing the great craftsmanship they did in remodeling our parent’s Kirkland, WA home. Our parent’s found them as UR was featured on the best of the 425, and they really are! We had the incredible custom designs of Michelle, and smooth collaboration with Victor and UR from the start of the design process. Everything is custom, individualized, and really takes into the character of your home (in our case building upon and modernizing on the unique character of an original 1904 Seattle beach cottage). Urban Restoration takes care of the entire process from sourcing the materials, to putting in the final touches. Victor, Michelle, and the whole team at Urban Restoration treated us like family. No detail was left untouched. From an incredibly detailed estimate to lie out the scope of the project, to coming in ahead of schedule, we were blown away by the professionalism. You can trust that your project will be everything you dreamed and better with Urban Restoration. There is a reason Urban Restoration is remodeling some of the best homes on the Eastside. They have a substantial crew of craftsman who go above and beyond to ensure every detail is perfect. If you are looking for the best contractor in the area, look no further. We are already looking forward to the day when we can use Urban Restoration for the next phase of our remodel project!

The entire team of people at Urban Restoration who worked on our project: Reg & Victor (the owners), Michelle, Paul, Riat, Michael and Jesse all did meticulous work. You know that old adage, “if you are going to do a remodel, plan on it costing 50% more than you budgeted and taking twice as long? That does NOT happen with UR-Build. Reg took 2 weeks creating the spreadsheet that notated EVERY single expense (even things like the current price for drywall, etc) in order to give us as exact an estimate as possible. The only extra costs were for things that we decided to add on to the remodel as it progressed and we saw how great their work was. Even with COVID slowing down permit approvals for everyone in Kirkland, these guys did a complete home renovation in about 5 months (including demolition). The remodel on our 3,500 sf house was extensive. It required moving exterior doors & windows, removing support columns and replacing them with steel beams (ALL over our house), ripping out walls, installing hard wood floors, adding an electrical panel, gutting a small kitchen and pantry and creating a custom 21 foot wide kitchen with a 9-foot island. And they did all of it starting Jan 2 and finishing at the end of May. I have never seen anything like it, nor had my friends, several of whom had horror stories about their remodels. Not only was this team able to complete our “gut job” in a ridiculously short amount of time, but each of them took pride in making every detail absolutely beautiful, thinking of things that would never have occurred to us. In order to meet their deadline so we could move in, this team worked every weekday and even some weekends. They showed up on time. They multi-tasked. They left the house swept and clean at the end of every working day so that we could do walk through in the evenings whenever we wanted. They made our 1990s “house of columns” a beautiful, peaceful, modern space. Everyone on their crew (including Jesse, the custom cabinet maker) was inventive, talented, professional, friendly, devoted to our job, easy to work with and kind. We have already recommended UR-Build to two sets of our friends both in Bellevue and in Sammamish, basically telling them that they are crazy if they hire anyone else but them. I promise, I’m not exaggerating when I say that this firm is a blessing. I thank them from the bottom of my heart. They have truly turned an dark, ugly old house into a beautiful home that we never want to leave. One last note: Reg and Victor, the owners, are both incredibly smart, crazy-talented and so compassionate (which is under-rated in the world of construction). Renovations are stressful, exhausting and flat-out scary for the homeowner. These two guys were compassionate at every turn: trying so hard to make every dollar go as far as possible and to make the process as easy on us (the homeowners) as they could. They are are true gentlemen and I am so grateful we found them.
