Called to request services based on what their website says they provide, spoke with Mike Daniels, but was told he’s “not interested” in helping me. Wow, great customer service!

PM was inept and sketchy – quoted non existent repairs and was unresponsive and unable to get us a clean, comprehensive quote. When called out on this- Howard’s dumped is and has left us on a major construction lurch. Do not use. They are nefarious.

It was a bad situation but they made it better! “On or around January 15, I had a sewage backup/overflow or “poopy water” as the plumber called it. After the Mitigation Company completed their part it was time for the renovation. Drywall, flooring, plumbing paint & carpet all needed to be replaced. My house was a mess. My insurance company told me they could recommend a company or I could find a contractor- I was skeptical thinking if they worked for the Insurance Company I would have to fight to get my house back up to the way it was, but I reluctantly let them recommend a contractor. Boy was I ever wrong, Lance Howard, Howards General Contracting, came in and did the initial estimate. He even pointed out some things that I did not even think of (those things are called quarter rounds). He was efficient and professional and answered all of my questions. He was great and informed me the next step was to turn it over to his Project Manager. The Project Manager, Mike Daniels, is just a professional joy to work with. From our first meeting at the construction scene (I was walking on a concrete slab, missing drywalls and my Master Bedroom and Bath were gutted) to patiently walking down every aisle in Lowes and painstakingly explaining to me why cheap is not always better, to the completion of the project. I was so pleased with the company that I allowed them to quote and complete other construction projects. Don’t let Mike fool you, not only does he know construction he has a designer’s eye for color and detail. Simply put it’s refreshing to work with nice people- I am well pleased with this company, entire staff and my bathroom and floors look amazing.

We recently bought a house which needed renovation. Lance Howard of Howard’s General Contracting was recommended to me. I got a couple quotes and his was quite detailed and within my budget. He and his team did a great job! All the floors were re-done, lots of painting, appliances, repairs, plumbing, and some electrical. The project manager Brian did a great job staying in touch with me. They completed on time and on budget. Lance and Brian are both great to work with. Additionally they guarantee their work. I will gladly hire them again as the need arises and recommend them without any reservations. You won’t be disappointed.

I used Howard’s General Contracting to finish my basement and I must say From start to finish I couldn’t be happier with the experience. The owner, Lance was polite and professional. His quote was not only the lowest bid but also the most detailed. He outlined every detail of the project up front. As things got changed in the project he updated the quote and I am happy to ay that even with some significant upgrades during the project we still came almost exactly on budget. The project itself was very big and I needed it don by Christmas. My project lead Mike explained right up front that it would be tight but he thought he could get it done. His communication was excellent. He told me when decisions needed to be made and when he and his crew would be working. He was sounding board and lent his expertise time and time again to show me how we could make this project a true success. When snags occurred, which wasn’t often, he was up front and got the issues addressed quickly. The work itself looks immaculate and was completed a week ahead of schedule They took an area of my home that was nothing more than concrete and rafters and turned it into the highlight of my home. I am delighted with the work they did and would recommend them for any kind of home improvement or remodeling. Exceptional work. Professional team. Timely completion. Reasonable price. What more could one ask for?

Absolutely terrible. Initially, Frank (our GC) propositioned that work go one way and assured me that the inspection would pass and everything would be approved and we could finish the commercial upfitting project. Once the framing inspector (that he had never thought to get in contact with initially but still made the appointment for) came to inspect the property, he immediately informed us that the framing wasn’t going to pass inspection, and demanded that the project was redone. Once I got back into contact with Frank again, he informed me that he had contacted some other “master framers” of his that he knew and that there was another way to bandaid the issue. At this point, I was obviously wary of these new “master framers” and asked him to get in contact with the inspector anyways, just as my subcontractors, before beginning work and before even sending me a quote, had gotten into contact with their respective inspectors and ensured that the work being done was at or above code, to save me time, stress, and money. Frank then told me that he would no longer work with me and promptly informed everyone that he was backing out of the project and left, rather than working with me to remedy the situation. Would never recommend to anyone.
