Avonte is a superb contractor,attention to detail,will work with you and go beyond expectations, having someone in your home can feel invasive, not with him,he definitely became a trusted friend.He gutted our 50s style bathroom and our vision was met and then some.. AV General Contracting did an amazing job transforming my mom’s bathroom. Her bathroom was still stuck in early 90’s decor (wallpaper and wooden trim), but after Avonte worked his magic, the bathroom looks magnificent! The transformation has been amazing and the pictures don’t do it justice. The entire process from start to finish was very simplistic and straight-forward. It was obvious that Avonte takes pride in the work he performs as he always wanted to make sure that everything was correct. He was very respectful of my mother’s wishes, was a great listener and exhibited a great attitude throughout the entire process. 10/10 would definitely recommend hiring AV General Contracting for the professionalism and knowledge portrayed and executed!

AV General Contracting did an amazing job with our home renovation. My husband and I bought our first home and Avonte was able to create our vision! He updated our upstairs bath(tile, vanity/toilet/mirror installation, lighting), added a half bath into our existing bonus room(walls, tile, paint, trim, installation of door and fixtures), updated our kitchen (tile, backsplash), and installed a new closet. He worked incredibly hard to get it all done within our timeframe. He also was able to bring in electricians, plumbers, and painters that were all very reputable and did great work. He coordinated everything with them to ensure we could keep the projects going amongst them being in high demand. Avonte was very responsive which made working with him easy. He went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with the final product and continues to check in. Everything looks amazing and we are so appreciative of all the time and energy Avonte put into our home. We would highly recommend him to anyone looking to hire a general contractor!

I cannot tell you how impressed we were with AV. We had a challenging job of finishing our basement after it was waterproofed and AV did absolutely incredible work. His work ethic and attention to detail was unparalleled and he was a pleasure to work with. Even the subcontractors he brought in for electrical and carpeting were good people who did quality work. I’d recommend AV to anyone looking for work big and small in your home.

AV was fantastic from start to finish. Very professional and properly communicated so there were no surprises. As he worked, I could tell he pays great attention to detail and wants to get the job done right. Extremely skilled carpenter. End result was beautiful and far exceeded my expectations.

I hired AV to install a storm door. He was on time, very professional and did an awesome job. He even cleaned up everything after the door was hung! I would ABSOLUTELY hire AV for any future projects I need help with! I HIGHLY recommend AV. You will not be disappointed.
