In a perfect world, we could get what we want when we want it. From my experience with Moore’s Grading when it comes to getting what we want AND NEED, any wait is definitely worth it. Assuming honesty, fairness, professional competence, and top quality are important characteristics for your excavation project, I highly recommend Moore’s Grading. I moved from Concord to Lake Tillery on the Stanly County side and wanted to add a garage workshop outside my home. I wanted this structure where a 8’ to 10’ high bank existed with a huge rock/boulder at the top of the bank. I needed to move the content of the bank/hill where I wanted my garage/workshop to a side lot for additional parking. I would need the resulting area graded for proper drainage and building inspection for my desired building. I invited over 20 area contractors to look at and quote this project. From the beginning, I was told by all contractors that came out to meet and spec the job that the oversized boulder at the top of my hill/bank was everywhere in Stanly County and that there would be more of this same boulder in the bank where I wanted my building. Of these contractors that bothered to follow up, there was only one (Jamie Moore) that concluded what I thought would be obvious, which was that no one knows what is in the bank/hill until we start digging. The Stanly County building inspector recommended I wait for Moore’s Grading to be sure the job would be done correctly. I did need to wait, but Moore’s Grading has the equipment and personnel to tackle this challenging job and deliver the perfect result. Many of my neighbors have used Moore’s Grading for a wide variety of challenging jobs and all agree that Moore’s Grading is worth any necessary wait. I highly recommend!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Jamie Moore and his team are excellent at what they do. They cleared and graded app. 1.5 acres of land for us and cut in and designed a 800ft driveway for our dream home. They were easy to work with and have great guys who have been with the company for many years. If you need any grading work done, contact them!

More’s Grading should be your first and last call for any grading or shoreline project needs. Jamie, Timmy, Will and Noah are the best around. This is our second time using Moore’s Grading and his professional team for a new construction project. WE COULD NOT BE ANY HAPPIER! If you want personalized, professional and “clean” work done on your next project you MUST call Moore’s Grading! They are the best around. From conception to completion you will be impressed. Terry Smith Construction spoke highly of Moore’s Grading back in 2004, but we did not use Jamie and his team at that time. That decision resulted in a short project being drug out for 2 plus weeks. 2014 – I knew that I was going to use Moore’s Grading to clear our lake lot, dig the basement and complete the backfill/finish grading. It is true – you can plant seed after his team leaves your property…they are that maticulous, precise and good! 2022 – NO QUESTION – I called Jamie and we started the prcess of planning for our next construction project. Jamie’s team arrived on-time and started removing debris and leveling the lot to start our third home. I KNEW I COULD TRUST MOORE’S GRADING! Jamie stands behind his word which is an invaluable trait. Moore’s Grading can handle any sized project. If you have a shoreline porject on Lake Tillery or Badin Lake look no further…call Moore’s Grading if you want PROFESSIONALS to protect and beautify your property. Enjoy! Top Notch! The team was on time and focused on doing an excellent job. They stayed engaged throughout the project for my shoreline stabilization and took the time to make it special for our needs. Working with Jamie and Mama Moore as well as the team of Timmy, Jake and Austin was professional, friendly, respectful and fun. I absolutely recommend Moore’s for any and all grading needs.

Jamie and his Moore’s Grading crew are fantastic! They installed riprap on our lake shoreline as well as created “tiers” for our steep hillside. They could not have been more awesome to work with and we are thrilled with the results!! They were professional, on time, courteous, extremely hard working and creative with their design ideas. This company is five-star all the way, AND they are reasonably priced!
