NYKB did a beautiful job on a complete kitchen and bath remodel on our condo in the West Village. Everything came out beautifully. Even when some unexpected plumbing issues came up behind the walls, Perry was able to work out a very fair price for me. Michael, who was in charge of completing our project, was diligent, always available and showed impressive attention to detail.

Gio and his crew managed our Kitchen remodeling project. They were courteous Gio was available for any questions or concerns. He checked in regularly and kept us appraised of the project from beginning to end. Gio and his crew’s work was impeccable. We are extremely happy with how beautiful our kitchen looks.

My husband and I had an awful experience working with NYKB. We signed a contract with NYKB for an apartment remodel and paid a $112,000 deposit (50% down). Just a month later, NYKB hit us with surprise additional charges totaling $230,000, claiming that these charges were necessary for “building requirements”. It turned out that NYKB had tacked on significant new charges for tasks like waterproofing and plumbing work that should have obviously been included in the original contract since the work included gutting and replacing everything in 3 bathrooms and a kitchen. It seemed that their initial quote is a bait-and-switch tactic, designed to lure us in before springing huge additional costs upon us. Furthermore, even though they had more than doubled the cost of their original quote, NYKB would not guarantee the costs would stop there. In the end, my husband and I decided just to lose our deposit rather than continue. It was a huge financial loss for us, but we are glad we did not continue with NYKB and could preserve some semblance of our sanity. In summary, my husband and I had an horrible experience with NYKB. If the option to rate NYKB with negative stars existed, we would undoubtedly do so.

I had a great experience scheduling an in-home consult with NYKB. The staff was helpful and very responsive. I received a very detailed quote and unfortunately it was way too expensive, so I was unable to move forward. I think they would have done a great job.

I worked with Noy, Rojda, and Q from NYKB on a gut remodel of a bathroom. We also updated some lighting and installed nice new automated blinds. My wife and i are extremely happy with the results and with NYKB. In particular, the bathroom is just gorgeous and much more functional than it was before. The design advice, project management, workmanship, and communication were first rate. Highly recommended.

Finding a good and trustworthy contractor is very hard to find. From the jump Anthony and Sharon made us feel like family. Then came along Michael. He was wonderful too! They were able to work with us through COVID tough times and worked with our budget. Very easy to work with and very organized from beginning to end. I plan to use them for future projects. Thank you NYKB!

NYKB renovated our bathroom a year and a half ago. Due to issues with vendors and original construction of our apartment, the renovation was stressful and lengthier than anticipated. But throughout the entire process everyone in the office was quick to work with us to complete the bathroom, which ended up exactly as we had ask envisioned. NYKB honors their guarantees. Michael Avidor, Noy Portal and their team quickly responded to our questions and concerns were quick to rectify any issues that have occurred after they completed our renovation. Everything was resolved quickly and completely covered under their warranty, going above and beyond to make sure we were happy with the final results. We totally recommend NYKB for their work ethic and guarantee on work done!

I recently had NYKB do a full remodel of my kitchen and bathroom, and let me tell you, they were nothing short of fantastic. They not only rewired the electric and installed new doors but also did an incredible job with the flooring. It’s not every day you find a team that’s both professional and respectful like Michael Avidor’s crew. And Noy Portal? She was a star, always on the ball even after everything was done. If you’re thinking about getting some work done, these are the folks to call, hands down. Their work’s so good, even my picky Aunt Linda can’t stop raving about it.
