We called Shorty”s Renovations after seeing the wonderful work Steve did on our grandmothers two bathroom remodels. He was very kind and helpful. Grandma had recently lost her sister and Steve and his wife had even bought her a garden stone in rememberence. He later framed out and hung a door for us to turn an office into a bedroom for our grandma. We then hired him for a full bathroom remodel. Steve did an amazing job on that bathroom remodel. He was very patient with us and answered all of our random questions we had leading up to the start of the project. He went above and beyond on all of his work. He even helped us with random little fixes around the house. Steve is a great guy who does excellent work. I highly recommend Shorty’s Renovations! He truly cares about his work and making sure the client is happy.

Steve just finished our basement and it turned out exactly how I envisioned! I met with him along with a few other contractors. After reading all of the reviews, I decided to go with Steve for two main reasons, he’s truly a perfectionist and meticulous on how he leaves his work area at the end of every day! Both of these items were super important to me. All of his reviews nail his work ethic to a T. Our basement job was not your standard basement finish, we needed electric, HVAC, and plumbing moved to accommodate an additional bedroom and a full bathroom. We decided to have drywall ceilings in the bathroom and bedroom but the main area we went with black sprayed ceiling, and we needed to move a water softener into the storage area of the basement – Steve had no issue with any of it! He provided great advice throughout the project, which was so valuable since I’m not in the home improvement business. He confirmed the start of the job and while it was a few months into the future, he started on time. He also estimated how long it would take and again nailed it! I will definitely hire him for any home improvement job in the future! Also, if you’re thinking about a home remodeling job and you’re nervous just remember it’s not a book or a piano and Steve can tell you what that means. 🙂 Thanks so much Steve!!

Steve is one in a million. I was fortunate to find him two years ago. He just finished his sixth (6) project/renovation for us. I highly recommend Shortys Renovation’s. Steve is the Gold Standard FYI, Book when you have an idea because he’s that good and projects fill fast.

We highly recommend Shortys Renovations as Steve was very responsive and professional removing our old backsplash and putting up new one in our kitchen! We even get to return 12 sheets of tile as he limited the amount of waste by using as much as possible before opening a new 12×12 sheet. Will definitely have him return for more home improvements in the near future
