He built the black frame to my catio in 2018 and I have been able to upgrade the interior into a great space. The enclosure is holding up well even in 2023. Solidly built.

We hired Alexander Home Services to replace our windows, roofing, and siding. While Luke and Alex were very polite and friendly, we had problem after problem with the work done on our house. From the beginning, they would rarely (if ever) do site visits to manage subcontractors. The first subs to come work removed our old roof and then just left, leaving an enormous hole open to the interior attic of the house. Nobody came to fix this for three days until I called to find out what was going on. Once the new roof was installed, we had an enormous leak inside the house. They did not come to look at themselves but sent an assistant to check, who came while we weren’t home and looked at the wrong side of the house despite clear instructions. It took a lot of frustrating communication to get the leak repaired. Now, 6 months after the “repair” we have a leak AGAIN in the same location. Our attempts to communicate have gone unanswered so we are having to hire another company to fix their poor work. The window order was done incorrectly THREE times, totaling over six months of back-and-forth. They did not order picture windows we requested and did not order frosted windows for our bathrooms, despite many communications clarifying the order. At the end of the project there were a lot of construction materials (shingles, plywood, etc) left at the house for weeks that we requested be picked up. They sent an assistant to pick it up, and again even with clear instructions, he went to a closed shed and took our personal air compressor. If I hadn’t been home and seen it, he would have taken our air compressor and we wouldn’t have known until it was too late. Being friendly as a business owner is nice, but their project management skills left a lot to be desired and our ongoing issues with the roof make me question the quality of the work.

Friendly, hard-working people. Excellent results. Quickly painted our house in just a few days which would have taken us all summer. We totally recommend them. When our next job comes up, they are the ones we will call.

We paid them to paint the ceilings of the main level. Initially, it was great communication. After they painted the ceilings, they took down all of the plastic coverings and said we should wait a couple days for it to soak in and see how it looks. That was almost a month ago. We have tried contacting them 4 times since then and have yet to receive a response. Very disappointed.

Alex and his team did an amazing job with staining our deck. The price was great and was also all inclusive using top of the line Cobalt stain. This stain was recommended, but we could have chosen anything which was great. The day he came to pressure wash, he also brought along a book of samples for us to choose from as well. Do yourself a favor, and call these guys for your next project. I would have wasted a great weekend trying to do this on my own, and likely spent more money,, but instead they knocked it out on the weekdays. Top notch service, doesn’t rush, etc. Very highly recommended!
