Majestic completed our basement finishing project in early 2024 and I have nothing but good things to say about Zayne, Chris and the rest of the majestic crew. Top notch service! Choosing the right company to finish our basement was something that my wife and I spent a great deal of time mulling over. We knew we wanted a company that understood our vision, had a proven track record of delivering high quality work and most importantly, gave us peace of mind that we could trust the owners. The first person with whom I interacted was Chris. I probably called him 15 times during the quotation process with questions that in hind sight, were probably trivial. Nonetheless, he was incredibly patient and always provided me with thorough responses, a true testament of his dedication to exceptional customer service. After the sales process, the design team took over. The team helped to bring our vision to life through 3D renderings and physical samples. This was a massive help as we navigated what felt like a million decisions. When our ideas got too crazy or were too mundane, the design team came to the rescue to ensure our ultimate vision was realized. Then we were transitioned over to Zayne and his crew. Not only did I learn a great deal from them, by the end of the project, the entire team felt like my extended family. For example, the team would check in with my wife and I to give us a heads up if the day/week would be very noisy. They knew this was especially important to us because of our infant daughter’s nap schedule. Beyond their great personalities, the craftsmanship was of high quality (and I’m very picky!!). We would 100% work with this entire team again at the drop of a hat. Well done Majestic.

I have been a client of Majestic Remodeling for over 20 years. Zayne and his talented crew never disappoint! Professional, courteous, and up-to-date on all the current trends and finishes, as well as, respecting classic and timeless design. Zayne finished our basement 20 years ago and it still looks modern and fresh today. This update on our built in “entertainment center” turned into a modern storage built in (here are before(in white) and after(in black with new doors) pics) I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. Perfection.

Majestic finished 1500 sq ft of our basement and I was happy with the result and experience. I’m a person who likes to poke my nose around, inspect the work as it gets done, and ask questions along the way. I felt there was a collaborative relationship. If I had a concern, we talked thru options and came up with a game plan that I was happy with. There’s clearly a lot of ‘moving parts’ to do a job like this, with people, materials, unplanned issues that arise, so I understand that a perfectly planned schedule doesn’t always happen. Bottom line after 1 month is that I was pleased with the result and would recommend Majestic if I was asked.

I would recommend staying away from this company for renovation work. We hired them for Fall 2022 to remodel our bathroom. At first, they were professional, had a schedule, showed up, worked hard, got things done. But after a week or two, we were no longer a priority and were strung along – we were told contractors would be coming out and they would never show up. We would be told they’d be working on a component and then it wouldn’t get done. The contractors they would send out would not be skilled in the craft they were tackling, such as drywall work or plumbing. We were not a priority and had to hound them to get the work completed/get on the schedule. We’re a year out from the remodel, and the grout started to crack throughout fairly immediately after install. We had a plumber come to evaluate, who pointed out several areas of questionable practices – shark bite fittings, poor job cleaning up putty, lack of caulk where warranted, etc. The tub itself lacks adequate support underneath, which causes the tub to “sink”/”settle” anytime you fill the tub. We’re having to go through our first floor kitchen ceiling to add adequate support under the tub and fix the shoddy workmanship that was performed. I’m not sure how this company has as many high reviews as it does. I would not recommend using them.

Majestic demoed our previous basement, then added a bar, gym, theater, updated bathroom, living area, and a walk-up our daylight lot. From the start, both Chris and Shay were fantastic to work with and very responsive. Both were very understanding of our needs and worked very hard to ensure a once very vague vision came to life through Shay’s high level of design and aesthetic. They started earlier than anticipated with the demolition, and then started on the walk-up, which was no small task (contracted through DeBucks). Chris reluctantly worked directly with them, and while I would never recommend DeBucks since they do the absolute bare minimum (seeding a destroyed back yard instead of re-sodding, tying drainage to the easy location instead of a better choice which was a few feet over, as a couple examples), the rest of Majestic’s work was quality. Chris was very understanding and reasonable with the fixes needed to recover from DeBucks’ work and made sure it was done right when they left. Everything beyond that was pretty smooth. We had to stay on top of the details as there appeared to be some communication breakdowns with Shay/Chris and the trades. Simple things like wall bump outs, tile configuration, finishing work, wine closet glass, etc, but nothing major and nothing that couldn’t be fixed quickly. Boyd was also good while pointing out additional items to be completed or considered as he wrapped everything up. Shay was very creative with the space and continued to make suggestions along the way – each suggestion had a price tag, but each was 100% our choice to move forward and add to the overall project. I would note, however, this is exactly what we wanted out of a remodeler/contractor – we told them early on that we were relying on their expertise and prior experience to make our space better than what we could have imagined. And to say they nailed it, would be an understatement. Comparing the drawings to what we actually got is eerie because it almost looks identical…but better. All in all, we didn’t have to worry about too much, and we are very happy with our new basement. I would definitely have Majestic back to complete other projects.

We had our basement finished by Majestic Home Solutions between December 21 and March 22. During the consultation with Chris, he was very professional, knowledgeable, and was very creative offering suggestions to fit the our list in the space we had in ways other companies didn’t. We enjoyed working with Shay through the design process and Megan as our project coordinator. All of the work done was exceptional, especially all of the finish trim work done by Joe. It was a pleasure to work with all of the team, especially Joe and Aaron. Everyone at Majestic treated our house as if it were there’s.

Majestic Home Solutions did an amazing job on our basement . It was completely unfinished and Chris, Shay , and Megan and all the crew transformed it into a new living space for us ! They do excellent quality work and everyone was so professional. I will be using them again for future home improvements

Great work, highly recommended! Early on there were some staffing changes which could have cause some major delays however Shay and her team made accommodations to ensure work continued without delay. Any concerns we had were addressed timely and to our satisfaction. Shay was very helpful in designing the space to my liking and offering her professional opinion. Megan was very responsive to our questions and Dean and Boyd were very helpful as well! All of the contractors were respectful and kind. I would highly recommend working with Shay and her team!

Majestic Home Solutions LLC did work on my home and I can say that the quality and professionalism is A-1. Shay, Megan, Boyd, Chris were all great to work with. Keep up the great work! The attention to detail that they have is beyond compare. We will be calling them for our next project when the time comes.

And their contractors are competent. We are very happy to choose Majestic for finishing our basement. We definitely recommend Majestic to our friends.
