We had the pleasure of working with KDB for a remodel/expansion of a 50’s bungalow. The new space is absolutely gorgeous, and better yet, the process was top notch. Our project manager was efficient, readily available for any questions, and quick to resolve the unexpected problems that pop up with any remodel. The quality of the work is excellent across the board. The trades were highly skilled, respectful of our privacy, and generally a delight to behold as they turned the sketches for our dream space into reality. We relied on KDB’s design staff for expert, insightful recommendations, and they were also willing to suspend judgement and help us make it happen when our ideas were off the beaten track but something we knew we wanted. Work was completed on budget, and progress tracking was impeccable and transparent with thorough documentation of all costs. The icing on the cake is that KDB runs on passion and integrity. I am grateful to have found such an outstanding local business for our remodel.

Full condo renovation: 2 bed, 2 bath, kitchen, living room. Communication was good. Work was good. All construction has issues but it is about how a company handles those issues. Some companies try to hide them or fight you about them. If something was not right, Kendall fixed it without an argument. The design team made process quick and easy. They understood my goals and suggested certain finishes accordingly, which made the design phase really pleasant. Overall, a bit expensive and took a long time to complete but their project management saved a lot of my time and stress. They even dealt directly with my condo association board. I’ve acted as my own project manager/general contractor on other homes and I think the lower stress was worth the extra cost in the end. Total project ended up being approximately $194k.

We worked with Kendall Design + Build for a complete renovation of our basement. The project was over 1400 sqft., with a bar/kitchen, full bath, electric fireplace and tiled surround, game-room and movie area. We are beyond thrilled. Our designer, Emily, made our wishes come to life. Her taste was perfect and she helped us narrow down options, to make our choices easy and the outcome is everything that we hoped for. Their crew was great, and really paid attention to detail. We are so pleased and love our new space.

We just completed a full kitchen and bath remodel with Kendall on our hundred-year-old house and could not be happier with the results. Terri has assembled a team where it seems like every tradesperson (and there were a lot of them involved here) holds themselves to very high standards of workmanship and reliability. We’re especially in love with our tilework and stone countertop/backsplash, both of which came out more gorgeous than we could have imagined. There were plenty of random issues that cropped up, mostly due to old house and supply chain, but I always felt confident that Terri had us covered and would make it all work out perfect in the end, which it did! We would happily hire Kendall again for another project.

We hired Kendall Design + Build to remodel our bathroom including design. It was great having a contractor take care of every little detail making the process not one bit stressful for us. Our bathroom turned out incredible and is our favorite part of the house. Thank you Kendall Design + Build!

From the moment I met Terri & Hannah, I knew this was the construction team I wanted working on my project. After speaking with a number of contractors about the needs for my small business, I knew that they genuinely cared about me getting my feet off the ground. They worked with me on budget, gave a pretty close timeline, and communicated issues along the way. As stressful as opening a small business can be especially with construction, I felt the work was done well, the communication was wonderful, and the ability to work with me was outstanding. Meghan was amazing as a Project Manager and truly brought the calm to the project. Also the flooring and repairman were outstanding people. Even my landlord was blown away with the caliber of work. Will definitely be calling on Kendall again for location number two or future home repairs!

This was our first experience hiring contractors as we decided to finish our basement. Then we decided to tack on adding hardwood floors to our main floor. We could not be happier with the finished project. Everything looks incredible. Every email was returned promptly. Every question I had was answered thoroughly. Every change I made was handled with not only grace but also enthusiasm. Everyone who came to work in our house was very kind and hardworking. Kendall Design + Build did an outstanding job renovating our master ensuite bathroom and a guest bathroom. The finished product exceeded our expectations and we have received so many compliments. Cannot thank them enough for their guidance and recommendations during the design process. From our initial assessment meeting until the project closeout, Terri and her entire team were very responsive and easy to work with. My wife and I received weekly project status reports and a budget reconciliation spreadsheet when needed. Our project due dates and budget changed mostly due to unforeseen circumstances (supplies out of stock or late deliveries) but Kendall was always upfront and transparent about these changes. All the contractors that Kendall chose were master craftsmen, friendly and very professional. Job site was always cleaned at the end of the day. Everything from the tile work to the drywall was done with the highest level of detail. When problems arose during the build, the Kendall team were great problem solvers and helped us resolve the issue quickly and to our satisfaction. I would highly recommend Kendall for all your design/build needs. We will be using them again for a future kitchen project.

Kendall Design and Build completed a bathroom/master suite renovation in my 1960s home earlier this year. Terri, Meghan and their crew navigated through this complicated project (1960s quad architecture can be challenging), nailing down all the details from design to completion, handling all my questions and concerns in a professional timely manner. The end result is absolutely stunning! We are very happy with our new master suite and bathroom!
