We hired Midland Home remodeling to replace our wood deck with composite. The new deck looks great however they installed broken railing parts. I contacted them the same day they finished the work and was told that they would order new parts and replace the broken ones. It has been over two months and it is not been fixed. I’ve texted, called, and emailed multiple times and have simply received no responses. Completely ghosted by them. If they installed broken parts where I can see them, I have no idea if they actually fixed things where I can’t see. I don’t trust this contractor and would not hire them again.

Bathroom remodel went pretty well. The crew was polite and cleaned up every day. Love my new shower and basement. Did a great job with drywall and painting. Definitely recommend.

Midland Home Remodeling did a great job installing my composite deck. I picked out the decking and railings, they did the rest. Way better than my old wood deck. Very professional. Thanks guys.

Mike and his guys were working on our bathroom when the stay at home order hit. They worked as much as they could and wanted the final payment on the day before the order went into effect. They had yet to finish trim, painting, hanging doors and fixtures, paint,d stopper didn’t work, open plumbing access to crawlspace has allowed critters into the house. Mike PROMISED to finish the day after the order was lifted. Last communication was in May. It’s now August 9th. After 5 months of waiting, my wife and I have had to take it upon ourselves to finish the remodel and are filing a lawsuit against Mid Michigan Remodel to get back what we had already paid in material and labor for the work that was never completed. Avoid. This. Company.

I called on a Thursday to have them come out for a quote on siding. The guy told me he’d be out Friday and would text and email me a quote As far as I know he didn’t show. He didn’t email, text or call me to let me know that he couldn’t make it. I thought maybe he got too busy and would try on Monday even though he didn’t communicate at all with me. Monday went by and I didn’t hear anything. I tried calling again on Tuesday. He didn’t answer so I left a voicemail. He never returned the call. I understand if it’s busy and they’d have to reschedule but I don’t understand why there wasn’t any communication at all. This is an example of bad business ethics. I’ll never do business with someone like this. If you can’t trust them to follow through with a quote then how can you trust them with any kind of work on your home.

They really did a great job remodeling my bathroom and kitchen. Had to gut the rooms to do it. Love my new shower. cabinets, countertop, and floors. Soooo happy!!!
