Sam and Cherry Creek Construction are the BEST builder/general contractor we have ever hired and we give them our HIGHEST Recommendation! We have remodeled 4 homes, 1 cabin, and built 1 new home in 42 years of home ownership across 3 states. Cherry Creek Construction is by far the best builder/general contractor we have ever used. Sam and his team of expert carpenters along with their equally professional and close knit sub contractors exceeded our high expectations on our total renovation(down to the studs) of our 1960’s cape cod home as well as a significant remodel(including stealthy electrifying) of our 1940’s log cabin. We are thrilled with the results and enjoy the many improvements everyday we are at home or at camp. We look forward to having Sam and a couple of his team back later this summer to add some much needed, efficient and authentic looking closets and other storage solutions at camp. Having worked closely with Cherry Creek Construction for 4 years we consider them good friends as well as our ONLY Builder/General Contractor. We have recommended Cherry Creek Construction to many people including my sister and her husband who have also had OUTSTANDING experiences with Sam and his team. In fact, they are in their second major, multi-phase project with Cherry Creek Construction this summer.

Sam and his team are truly pros. We were impressed with the professionalism by every singe person from start to finish. We appreciated their eye for detail, quality of workmanship, timing, constant communication, and flexibility. My bank also was impressed with the communication when it came to draws and said they were the easiest to work with. I wouldn’t hesitate to work with Sam and his crew on any other projects, large or small. Our project was a large remodel and addition.

Sam and his crew have completed a few different projects at our home, including an extensive basement renovation. They do great work – wonderful craftsmanship, and completed on schedule. Sam and the crew at Cherry Creek has been instrumental in all of our home construction needs. From relatively minor barn residing/repair to a complete basement refinishing to a timber-frame accessory sugar shack, these guys do it all. I see other reviews that hit on many of the qualities we appreciate: timeliness, budget-consciousness, integrity, communication, cleanliness, and so much more. We echo those opinions and amplify them. Sam and all of his crews are just the consummate professionals. But two additional things to mention that are important. First, Cherry Creek works with great subcontractors (electrical, plumbing, concrete, etc.). They all value the strong work ethic and honesty of Cherry Creek, and so they all work well together. Second, in the event something seems still needs tweaking after job completion, Sam and the crew show up right away and make things right. In one case, we just needed a door to be squared up a smidge…he came over the next day. In the other case, we identified a leak in our basement ceiling. Turns out the problem wasn’t really due to anything Cherry Creek had done, but instead something from an earlier contractor…Cherry Creek still fixed it right away, even though it really wasn’t their responsibility. That’s class. We hear so many horror stories about contractors and builders who don’t come through. Cherry Creek is one of those businesses that you feel fortunate to have hired.

They are expert craftsmen & general contractors who top their competitors with additional qualities & skills we hold in high regard: integrity, responsiveness, superior communication, budget conscious, innovative design & problem solving, and the desire to understand their customers’ vision & goals and cooperatively work to achieve them. We continue to be thrilled beyond measure with our renovated space and we’re currently undergoing a multi-phased building & renovation project in which they are meeting our every need despite the considerable industry challenges. They want you to be as satisfied, short- and long-term, as you want to be. You will not find better!

Cherry Creek Construction has done beautiful work in our home. Sam Holcomb and his employees are professional, creative, reliable, honest and stand behind their work. Cherry Creek did our basement sauna/bathroom project and it turned out perfectly. Earlier this year we hired them for another bathroom remodel and we love the quality of the work. I appreciate that Sam takes the time to discuss the materials that will work best for us and will make suggestions when we aren’t sure what we actually want. Sam also uses local suppliers/craftsmen whenever possible, and that means a lot to us. Next time we have a project we’ll wait in line to hire Cherry Creek because we trust Sam completely.
