This contractor is terrible and unprofessional. The woman I was forced to deal with in their office, Angie, and “project manager” cannot speak English! You cannot understand them. They did NOT fix issues after multiple calls. I was told numerous times that they would show up and it’s been months. My project is no longer a priority since they received payment. When speaking to their operations manager, Angie; she had little to no construction knowledge, could not help with any of our issues and was rude to my wife. They hired an unlicensed plumber to complete the work on our home. We have had to spend thousands to get the issues addressed. I have since reported them to the licensing board to attempt to resolve the issues they created.

Our home was renovated by JLV for another couple who then were relocated before moving in. When we bought the house Jose came over voluntarily to demonstrate everything and answer all of our questions. The customer service (from Jose to Beth in the office) has remained excellent ever since. The quality of the work is exceptional. We have had no problems at all, even when the area was so affected by hurricane Ida. We would definitely use JLV again for any project.

It’s been a great experience building our new home with José, Daniel Escoto, Ben Dendy and everyone else. The work is clean, tight and on point, and they’re always on top of staying in communication with you, keeping you up to speed with whats going on, and giving you appropriate advance notice about when various choices need to be made. The house turned out to be amazing. Thanks JLV!

I have worked with JLV on 6 projects so far (ranging from $40k reno to full 2,000+ sq ft new construction) and we are about to kick off another one. They are very fair, professional and knowledgeable. Responsive too. No matted the size or type of job, JLV has had someone qualified to complete it. Highly recommend!
