Oneida Builders Inc 3 years agoAfter seeing some work they had done for a neighbor, I hired Oneida Builders to rip out and renovate two bathrooms, replace a front door, and add a small porch onto the front of my house. The owner, Rocco, was accessible throughout the project, answered our (many) questions, and addressed any concerns we had. The work was completed within the time frame we’d agreed on, at the price quoted, and everything functions properly and looks great. All of the various subcontractors who worked in my home- from the demo guys to the tile guys to the painters- were prompt, courteous, professional, and cleaned up at the end of the day. I would recommend this company without reservation to anyone considering a home renovation project of any size, and I will absolutely use them again when the time comes for the next project. UPDATE: After the great experience we had a couple of years ago (see review above), we hired Oneida to do a much larger project this year (2021): ripping out a semi-finished basement and installing a beam to allow us to remove two support posts, raising the ceiling, moving ductwork, plumbing, and electrical (and building soffits to contain it all), re-zoning the HVAC between the first level and the basement, building a full bathroom, installing new drywall and flooring, replacing the existing stairs and bannisters, installing new lighting, and creating a small kitchenette. The finished product has essentially transformed the house; what had been an extremely underutilized area has now been converted into a modern and attractive space that includes a media room, a spacious workout area, and the aforementioned new bathroom and kitchenette. During the process, I can say that, once again, every member of the Oneida team was fantastic to work with, from the design and initial drawings phase to demolition to framing to drywall to plumbing to electrical to flooring to paint, it was just about as close to perfect an experience as any home renovation can be. Rocco, the owner, was at the job site pretty much every day (maybe every day) and his team, as well as all of his subcontractors, were competent, courteous, professional, and took care of everything on our punch list with a smile. If you are doing a home renovation project, I would highly recommend giving Oneida a call…we will be calling them again when it’s time to redo our master bathroom!

D K Lippy Construction Co 2 years agoDO NOT WORK HERE OR HIRE FOR WORK! I worked for this company for about two months (11/04/21-12/15/21) before they decided to stop paying their employees. The company is unprofessional, unreliable, and run by Untrustworthy people. Once the employees and I noticed we have not been paid we started to raise our concerns. We were told it had to do with the company they used for direct deposit and the issue will resolve by (1/3/22). Still required to show up to work (still w/o pay up until 1/12/22) not knowing soon we would need to start looking for new jobs. When my boyfriend and I were hired they paid to relocate us to ATL. When they told the employee’s we were being let go due to lack of funds for payment of work we knew something was up. Not only did we lose our jobs, we lost our housing as well. (1/16/22) we were given a letter of separation and a date for when our last check is to be issued (2/28/22). It is (3/5/22) and still have not been paid. I have contacted DOL, unemployment, and the DK Lippy Construction aka Solomon & Solomon to see when the payment will be issued. Myself or any of these agencies have not been able to contact the company to get a response. I STRONGLY SUGGEST to go elsewhere, it will save you time, money, and a huge headache!
