Do not use this company they are the worst. They framed my nine foot high basement with eight foot studs. The worst dry wall job I have ever seen. Took them one week to put up two small walls. One month to frame and dry wall one bed room and bathroom and side room. They over charged on everything $17k for subpar job.

We contracted with James and his team to finish our roughly 850 sq ft basement. This was our first major re-modeling project so we were anxious and after getting some outrageous quotes we were a bit nervous. But James was incredibly reassuring and was very candid with us about what he could do for us with our budget. He explained the entire process, detailing an itemized budget and cost affordances. Once they got started their team was amazing! We absolutely adored Ivan and Amanda. They worked hard and some long evenings to try and keep out project moving on time. Also, we could hear them laughing and singing while they worked! They take pride in their work and have a lot of fun working. Nick was the other person who worked on our project the most. He was a bit more understated but also kind and respectful. It matters to us how a contractor treats his people and clearly these folks enjoy working with James. The end product was a beautifully finished basement. It took a bit longer than we thought but not all of that was within the teams control. If you are looking for a trustworthy team you cannot go wrong with James and his team.

The team just completed an entire basement finish at my house. I could not be more pleased with the outcome and look of our new basement and also the skilled team who crafted our space. Truly kind, hardworking and skilled individuals. Highly recommend Affordable Remodeling Solutions for any project.

I recently had my basement renovated.James and Tino worked with me throughout the project to ensure I would be happy with the end result. This project was completed with high quality craftsmanship in the timeframe that was discussed at the start of the project. This completely transformed my living space! Updated to add: had to have some additional work completed. And even though there were scheduling complications, James made it work and he and Nik came to the rescue! Thank you guys! A whole home renovation! Save your time and energy—work with James and Affordable Remodeling Solutions! The experience we have had with James and everyone has been wonderful—working with him, Ivan, Marcus, Nik, Tino, Miguel, Javier, and Elihu, and everyone! We had a large project—our entire home. Everyone was very easy to work with and made us feel comfortable and that we could talk with them about any of our concerns. Affordable Remodeling Solutions is truly that as well—affordable. It can be financially challenging to balance a family with all of the bills, but knowing a home needs a lot of work. We also are thankful that James worked with us to break our large project into two different phases (we had some bank/lender delays). Phase 1 were both bathrooms, and Phase 2 included the rest of the house; flooring throughout (carpet and hard floor) demo of a covered porch and concrete patio pour, demo/rebuild of a mudroom, remodel the kitchen, opening up an entryway, remodeling a second living room space w/fireplace, and other projects here and there as well. It was A LOT and other things came up as we were coming along. Even with surprises, the cost adjustments were reasonable. We have never been part of this kind of process before, and we feel so fortunate that James and everyone else with Affordable Remodeling was our crew! It has been an absolute pleasure working with everyone and we have a new and beautiful home now, and we feel ever so grateful! This was my first time finishing a basement and a great experience I’ll never forget! Many people around me had provided thoughts and ideas, but James knew exactly what would be required. He could easily spot mistakes, meet inspection requirements, and his crew’s work is near flawless. Professional all the way through!
