Telling customers straight lies about other companies: 1. “They source everything from china” 2. “I’ve had to correct multiple things from their work, like not leveled cabinets”. Complete lies and just saying this trash because they’re trying earn your business using weak tactics. Also, said will match any of their price. How about you give me your best price. Also, they ain’t fabricating with top notch water jet CNC machines. The company I went with instead is not only general contractor but fabricates all their stone with top line equipment: for template they lasered the entire kitchen countertops and cut all the quartz with Park industries SABERjet XP CNC Sawjet. Sell your company buddy and your Yelp rating is 3.6 starts with 72 reviews. Makes sense.

We hired Yancey to completely redo our main bathroom and make it an accessible bathroom. Walker and wheelchair accessible. Our bathroom was original 1957 small tub and built-in vanity. Yancey worked with our bathroom dimensions and created a wonderful experience for us. They were very easy to work with, very professional, and listened to all of our concerns. We did not shop around as we know we know can always find something cheaper But for us quality and service was more important than just the price. Yancey has been around Sacramento since 1939 and to do that today they must be doing things right. The installation crew consisted of the foreman, Slavic and a helper, Nathan. They were absolutely wonderful to work with and did a fabulous installation. They cleaned up their work area at the end of each day because they knew we were living in the house. They set up outside to do most of the cutting of the tile and did a great job cleaning up when the job was completely over. We cannot recommend them highly enough for bathroom remodels but if this is typical of their work I would definitely recommend Yancey for any remodel or work they do. We had been putting off renovating this bathroom (our only bathroom) for years, and we’re so glad we decided to finally do it! Steve came out and talked us through everything, took ample time to discuss what we expected, and gave us an estimate. Once we agreed to proceed, he took his time ensuring that we would be happy with every detail at completion. With resale being the main goal, while still wanting to enjoy it while we’re living here, he was honest about what would give us that timeless look without sacrificing our taste or budget. Linda was excellent at communicating to us when and how each appointment would go down. We ended up having to postpone as we got really sick, and she and the whole team were very accommodating and scheduled us for soon after we were feeling well. The installer, Chad, was easily available for questions while we did the demo. He knocked out the entire bathroom project and kitchen backsplash by himself, and in just two weeks. He made sure we were aware of any challenges that came up (our home is 70 years old and has been poorly renovated previously), communicated change orders to us and Linda, keeping us all on the same page, and was creative, as well as flexible when questions of design came up. The shower nook is gorgeous! Thanks, Chad! Overall, we are just so happy with how beautiful our bathroom and kitchen turned out. We have done most of the improvements on our home ourselves, but with a toddler and work, we knew we couldn’t tackle this one while keeping our sanity intact. We have no regrets. When we pull the trigger on getting some other things done around here, we’ll be calling Yancey.

Yancey Company added a new bathroom to my house and I am so happy I went with them. I have an old house and they have a lot of experience with houses like mine. The bathroom is absolutely beautiful! Tom and Eduardo and Chad helped me with the initial plans and Linda kept me updated at the office. Brandon did a great job with the demolition and building of the bathroom. I highly recommend Yancey Company!

We had Yancey Company remodel our master bathroom and they did a fantastic job. Our bathroom project was not your typical job as part of our second floor bathroom extended beyond the first floor and had dropped due to some structural problems. They were able to “jack up” the bathroom so it was level and added the necessary framing to make it strong. They also relocated our tub, toilet, shower and a whole lot more to create the perfect layout. The end product was amazing! Although we had heard to not use marble for a counter top, the designer at Yancey came up with a beautiful design with Carrera Marble and expresso cabinets and a year later and we still can’t believe how well it turned out. Our installation crew and the site manager Mike K were great to work with, keeping our house clean and locked up when we were gone. Mike even went as far as to take care of our dog and feed our cat when we left town for a few days. Although there were some surprises during the project, they addressed them quickly and to our satisfaction. I can’t recommend Yancey enough and we are now using them to remodel our kitchen that is starting next week! Thanks to all the Yancey staff for a great job, it was obvious they cared our us and our project.

TLDR: I will definitely consider Yancey for my next job. I got the tub I wanted installed at a very reasonable price in a timely manner with great workmanship. More data: From start to finish, Yancey was different. I got several other contractors out to bid the job. I had a hard time communicating with a few people that came into to start bidding. I liked the guy from Yancey even though our communication styles differed greatly. The job was removing existing cabinets and double sinks and installing a new hot tub with a smaller cabinet and single sink. There was drywall, electrical, plumbing and tile. There was an initial issue with an electrical circuit tripping often. A couple calls and a site visit later, all is functional. Yancey was communicative and timely even though they already had my money. Definitely kept me at ease that this would all be resolved to my satisfaction. In the end, wifey is happy with her new tub, I am happy with the work done and the price paid. I will definitely look up Yancey the next time I need work done.

Well as of today January year 2024 our job is not complete which was started in October of 2023. And today we had to call electrician out to our home to fix the mess that Yancey made.Cost of that slot more then we have.

We recently had our bathroom remodeled with Yancey and they did an amazing job. They even got it done earlier than expected. Everyone that we worked with were very nice and responsive. We had one issue and they were quick to fix it. New bathroom looks great and I will definitely be using Yancey for future projects.

I hired Yancey to convert my tub to a shower. After shopping around and feeling comfortable with the sales rep, we moved forward. Even though it was a high price tag, we were assured of a great product and end result that would add value to our home… We did not get that. I am writing this review a full year after starting that project. I was told their installers had years of experience…ours had been in the country only a few months and doing tile work for even less. During demolition they made 2 holes in adjacent walls, one being exterior that broke off a piece of my exterior stucco the size of my fist. Their fix was to fill it in with some good old white caulk. Really adds value to the place.. I did not pay top dollar to be a training wheels project for someone’s nephew. Since completion, we have noticed that the floor tile is not level, leaving pools of water that are unable to drain properly, and the grout in about every angled joint of the shower is cracking one by one, leaving gaps between tiles that just continue to widen. When calling to get these items repaired, it has taken weeks to months. They are late to every scheduled appointment or just completely miss it all together with no heads up. Wish I saved my money and done it myself. I have never done any tile work in my life, and I still could have done a better job. We still have not had the issues fixed properly as of this posting.
