Terrible! Requested a quote for construction. They came and said I would have a quote in three days. A month and several voicemails later and I have nothing. No call back, no quote. Just my project further delayed. So frustrating. I see vehivles at their office but apparently no one is actually working there???

We have been so very happy with Hughes Construction. The guys are very friendly, so polite, tidy, and meticulous. They do amazing work! Every one of the guys working on our home truly loves what they do, and it shows. I am so thankful we chose Hughes Construction and will definitely use them for any future need we may have. 🙂

Best contractor’s in the north state hands down. Great people and their quality ALLWAYS stands out from the competitors.the customer is allways top priority. They are family oriented and their one of the best employers in town they take great care of their employees.

Over the top price with work schedule drawn out over months. Just seemed like everything was rushed. And what ever you think u want done you better have a 100 percent detailed list drawn out and make sure they stick to it. Cause i asked for some crawlspace work and got the minimalist. Wasnt what i expected at all. The work isnt bad but its the delivery and the time it took. Like they really dont care about it. Its just a job

As a casualty of the Carr Fire and current client of Hughes Construction. I not only recommend Hughes 100% but I’d hire them again. Hughes caring and giving nature allowed us to rebuild our destroyed Redding home. When other general contractors came in over priced, Hughes crunched the numbers and came in under my allowable budget. Hughes Construction is ethical, trustworthy and goes above and beyond to help those affected by the Carr Fire. Great Company!

Shane Hughes and his crew did an amazing job fixing my sunroom. I contacted several companies in the area to fix my sunroom after noticing several leaks this last winter. After taking time off of work to meet contractors who didn’t show up or showed up to give an estimate only to never hear from them again, Shane Hughes was the only one to stay true to his word (and not due to lack of work). Shane and his crew were courteous, prompt, efficient, hard working and most importantly KNEW WHAT THEY WERE DOING. I’m more than satisfied with their work and fair prices. And when they were done, they cleaned the windows in the sunroom as well. Truly impeccable work. I plan to hire Shane Hughes Construction again for the full home remodel in the future. Thank you Shane and crew for fixing my sunroom so I can face the upcoming winter with no worries of leaks or mold.

Shane was excellent to work with. He was flexible with our changing needs (wants), we saw continual progress, and stuck to budget. Can not say anything but good about our experience, he will be our first call when we need a contractor again!
