My wife and I used Bergstrom Construction for a master bedroom/bath addition project in Barstow, along with a kitchen remodel. Mike was great to work with. He had some great ideas regarding kitchen interior dimensions that we probably would have made our aisles and pantry too small. He also made some suggestions on the bath layout to save us money on underground sewer work without sacrificing our original intent. We really liked the fact that Mike gave us an “allowance” in our budget for finish material. We did overspend that “allowance” but are really happy with the fixtures that we chose. Mike was at our house at least once a week and addressed any concerns that we had. After the project was complete we called Mike for a detached garage/workshop for my retirement festivities. The project was everything that I wanted. We would not hesitate to call Mike again for a future project.

Bergstrom construction was great! We are repeat customers from 2022 when they remodeled our kitchen and they last year built an ADU to be near my daughter. Amazing staff, respectful, clean. Mike was great. Highly recommend!

Very disappointed and would not recommend to others. I have used them in the past and if memory serves me I had problems with them then. My major gripe though is their complete lack of honesty. I made the mistake of contracting with them for some remodeling. Mike, the owner never started the job on time, never called letting me know what the delay was and never said when the project would start. After waiting several weeks I called to stop the project and went with another company which by the way was about half the price. Now, he has pocketed my initial payment and refuses to refund it . He says he was talking about starting my project another month which is a big lie. And he incurred no cost on my behalf. Not a truthful guy to deal with IMO. Customer beware !

Very unprofessional. Arrived late to appointment for estimate, did not practice current safety protocols by wearing a mask, did not take measurements or photos of areas needing an estimate. Instead, Mike asked for the insurance company’s estimate of repairs to be emailed to him directly. It’s been 3 weeks and we’ve yet to hear back from him regarding an estimate. If he’s this lazy to do an estimate and respond with a price, he’ll be this lazy to do the actual job.

Might be a good construction company but there drivers can’t drive and have no respect for other drivers or speed limits. One of there drivers almost took out the whole left side of my car if I wouldn’t have gone into the dirt
