I cant say enough good things about Kaufman Home Maintenance. I was lucky enough to stumble onto their website after a few failed meetings with other contractors. I don’t typically go out of my way to write reviews unless it’s a genuine, honest, and trustworthy business. All of which Kaufman is. In November of 2023 my skylight started to leak in the middle of a rainstorm and I spent many months trying to figure out the best way to remove the skylight, patch it all up, and get a new exhaust fan installed. The previous set up in my bathroom was pretty much a swamp. The skylight trapped tons of warm air and the exhaust did little to nothing with moving warm air out. Needless to say there was water damage from the leak and it was unsightly. From the first phone conversation and email with Danielle I knew this business was different. After my first meeting with Tony and James I had made up my mind to use their services. They were quick, honest, transparent and ALWAYS there to answer all my questions and put my concerns at ease. I hate to admit it, but i probably sent James 60 emails through this process and his professionalism always shined through it all. He even crawled through my attic with khaki pants on and a tucked in polo shirt at a time where it was close to 90° up there. Lets not forget Mihail, the master craftsman who repaired all the interior damage caused by the water leak. He takes pride in his work and it shows! The texture work he did is nearly identical to the rest of the bathroom. It turned out wayyyyyyy better than I had imagined. I cant forget the roofers either. Tony and Luis removed the skylight, patched it, installed a new vent and matched the new shingles up perfectly in 2 hours or less. All while not leaving a single piece of trash or nails anywhere. It was as if they weren’t even there. They treated my home as if it was there own, never leaving any messes, taking off their shoes when they came inside, and respecting my time and space. Kaufmans exceeded my expectations, I’m positive they would do the same for you. Don’t waste anymore time and give them a call for your next project.

My attic stepladder in the garage needed replacing. I scheduled Kaufman’s Home Maintenance to replace the stepladder. I was assigned a project manager who helped me select the stepladder and he scheduled the project. Two employees, Loren and Thomas arrived as scheduled. I couldn’t drive one of my cars out of the garage because the battery failed. The two workers got a jumper cable and started the car. The two workers did an efficient job and when they were cleaning my garage, one of the workers noticed my florescent light was not working. He asked if I wanted him to replace the light. And I was glad to have him do it. He switched out my florescent light for a much brighter LED light in less than 10 minutes. Such great service. I now have an attic ladder that works, a much better light in the garage, and I was able to drive my car to get a new battery. I can’t say enough good things about the service I received.

We had wind damage. The operator, project manager and handyman were all excellent to work with and did a great job at reasonable price. We look forward to using the in the future.

This is a brilliant business concept. I’m a single person and working full-time. Even if I had the time, I don’t have the knowledge or skills to do the handyman upkeep of my home. I understand the importance of preventative maintenance. I have used their services and their sub-contractor services on two homes and am a very happy customer. It gives me peace of mind to know that my home is being maintained in excellent condition. I highly recommend their services and believe it is very fairly priced. One last thing, I have the same handyman each quarter so there is consistency and familiarity. Duane knows my home which makes it really nice. Duane is very pleasant, too.

Very happy about the home improvement project done by Thomas from Kaufman’s Home Maintenance! Thomas arrived on time and did an excellent job assembling and installing a large tv wall and mounting a tv on it, and also assembling other furniture. He made sure everything was leveled and perfectly aligned, which is so much appreciated! Very grateful to Kaufman’s Home Maintenance and look forward to doing other home projects with this company in the future. Highly recommend! A+++!

Kaufman homes built my house some 21 years ago and did an excellent job. I used the monthly service with Kaufman home Maintenance and was pleased with the service. On my recent project they were punctual, professional and did an excellent job for a reasonable fee. I recommend them without reservation.

Happy to have found this company! They have now done an array of repairs and maintenance on my 105-year-old home, from replacing a faucet to removing roof moss (during which they cleaned the skylights for no extra charge!). They quote a fair price, charge what they quoted, give good advice, do excellent work, and always exceed my expectations.
