I heard about John Nelson and Toledo Basements several years ago when he did a renovation for my mom. Her basement turned out wonderfully, so when my family and I moved into a new home, John was at the top of our list to call. That said, we wanted to make sure we pursued every avenue before making such a big decision, so we got quotes from other companies as well. True to form, Toledo Basements provided the best quote within our budget, but more importantly, the quality of their work was outstanding! John and his team were always punctual, professional, and courteous. They listened to our ideas and helped turn our vision into a reality. Because of their hard work, attention to detail, and craftsmanship, the project turned out better than I could’ve imagined! I was particularly impressed by John’s accessibility and willingness to answer questions; he never made us feel like we were pestering him (which is important if you’re borderline “OCD” like me). Toledo Basements did a remarkable job on our basement! They put up walls, installed lighting, built 3 storage spaces, and gave us a half bathroom to make our space truly functional for years to come. John made sure we got all the details we wanted and communicated very well throughout the process. Sid and Jason worked diligently every day they were here. We were very impressed with the final result.
