Spacemaker Pro 2 years agoP.S.A This is a warning and a public attempt to get a response from a contractor who I have a contract with (and has a deposit) and is now non responsive and never filed my permit (4months later). If you are in the Ocean and Monmouth county area DO NOT hire or work with Jason Card of point pleasant NJ. On 11/5/21 I signed a contract with Jason’s company, spacemakers pro, and gave a $3200 deposit for an addition on my home. Jason stood in my home on 12/20/21 and showed me the plans and then claimed to be filing our permits and will be in contact when he gets them. In the next 2 months Jason was evasive to my texts but I was patient and kind (obviously too naive) because I understand the process takes time. After being given vague 1 word answers and being told that my permit should be ready any day, this was on 3/11/22, I finally had enough and called the township to find out that there is no request for any permit filed for my property, nor has there ever been one. Now that I have presented this information to Jason, and demanded my money back, he refuses to answer my calls, texts, and emails. Jason Card and Marco santos took money and have completely ghosted us. After further searching, because I did not see this back in November, I have also added a photo collage of all the reviews from people he has also literally stolen from. Hey Jason, feel free to return my money so we don’t end up in court.

Signature Kitchens a day agoWhen we needed to redo our kitchen at our beach house we turned to Jessica, who had previously designed kitchens for our two daughters. Our house is very busy all summer and a great deal of cooking takes place. We were always stepping over each other and storage space was sub par for a home that can sleep ten. Jessica came and listened to what I considered the biggest problems and began to help me decide what I wanted changed and how we could possibly expand the space and make it work for multiple cooks. As the project moved forward we decided to redo both second floor bathrooms, the first floor powder room and replace all the flooring and mouldings on the first floor. AND this needed to happen while we spent the winter in Florida. Jessica kept me in the loop by phone and email, as work proceeded. She helped me make choices of hardware, appliances and such. Michael kept me advised of the funds that needed to be sent and the cost of the add ons we selected. The finished project has dramatically improved the house. It’s a project I would never have undertaken without having confidence in Jessica and Michael. I highly recommend Signature Kitchens to anyone who is looking for highly professional and principled people to work with.

Le Chard Marine Contracting a year agoI’m very happy with the job Le Chard did at my home in Manasquan, NJ. They replaced my existing 50’+ bulkhead with a new vinyl bulkhead and composite decking. The team was conscientious and experienced. Thank you!
