Sublime Contracting, LLC 9 months agoI am extremely disappointed with the experience I had with Sublime Contracting. The entire process from start to finish was riddled with problems and left me feeling frustrated and unsatisfied. First and foremost, the timeline for the flooring installation was completely mishandled. Despite paying half of the total cost in May, work did not commence until June 20. I was repeatedly assured that the work would begin “next week,” only to be left waiting for a total of four weeks. This blatant disregard for timelines is unacceptable and displays a lack of professionalism. The quality of workmanship was equally disappointing. The floor was not leveled properly, and when I brought this to the attention of the employees, they denied it. This type of denial is not only unprofessional but also shows a lack of accountability on their part. During the installation process, I was informed that an employee was terminated, and another was consistently absent due to illness. This resulted in one person being left to handle most of the work, which unsurprisingly led to significant delays. Despite promises from the owner, Shawn, to come and assist, he failed to follow through. Upon completion, numerous issues were evident. Broken tiles, unfinished quarter round trim, messy caulking around the doors, and unglued door transitions were just a few of the problems that were apparent. While the main employee attempted to rectify some of these issues, it was clear that an additional box of vinyl tiles was needed to properly complete the work. I reached out to the owner, who assured me he would purchase the necessary materials and personally return to finish the job. Feeling reassured, I paid the remaining balance for the work. However, this proved to be a grave mistake. On the scheduled date, no one from Sublime Contracting showed up. After contacting the employee directly, I was informed that he no longer worked for the company. When I attempted to communicate with the owner about when the work would be completed, his response was utterly disheartening. His statement, “Yes I did forget. Had a guy call in today again. We’ve been backed up for several months. We can’t even complete the jobs we are on let alone coming back to them right now,” shows a complete disregard for his customers and a severe lack of professionalism. In light of this experience, I cannot recommend Sublime Contracting to anyone seeking contracting work. The level of unprofessionalism, poor workmanship, and disregard for customer satisfaction displayed by this company is simply unacceptable.

Dropped off gravel to our neighbors and pulled in our driveway in the process and tore it up busted our fiberglass pipes, busted our sidewalk out and also tore up our yard!!!! Now he refuses to fix it and admits to doing it very unprofessional!!! Spread the word!!! Stay away from this contractor!!!!
