I highly recommend Ryan’s Remodeling! We purchased a home that the previous owners had unsuccessfully attempted some DIY projects on that we needed to correct. We consulted many contractors regarding the project and ended up hiring Ryan because he was professional without being pushy and very competitively priced. We’re very pleased with the work he and his team did, and you can’t even tell it was a “remodel,” it looks the way it was meant to be. You won’t regret hiring Ryan!

Overall Cost: 5 Estimate detail and accuracy: 5 Team: 5 Project Scheduling: 5 Communication: 4 Partnerships with Suppliers: 4 Summary: I recommend going with Ryan’s Remodeling; he knows his stuff, is a project taskmaster and has very good subcontractors working for him. He provided a competitive and detailed estimate. The total cost includes allowances for categories of materials, and he applied debits or credits based on our final choices. Our bathroom is small and we had a limited budget, but that did not affect his enthusiasm for the project, and he helped us find ways to keep our costs down. His subcontractors were very good, especially plumbers, tilers, millworkers, and electricians. They were friendly, respectful of our home and double-checked with us when they had questions. The painter: nice guy, but quality – eh. Ryan’s partnerships with suppliers included ProSource (flooring, tile, vanity) and Build by Fergusons(fixtures), though we could also purchase from anywhere we chose. This part of my review applies more to the suppliers rather than Ryan’s Remodeling. ProSource was wonderful guiding us toward our final choices during the showroom visit; afterwards, they needed several prompts to get the costs and orders submitted, and I had to provide the same info a few times. Fergusons – HUGE disappointment. They have a large selection of products, and I ended up buying a James Martin vanity through them rather than going with ProSource. The vanity had a split leg, which I discovered the day it was installed. This led to disputes between the handoffs from James Martin to Ferguson’s to Ryan’s Remodeling. In the end, the manufacturer was assigned the blame, so they would send a replacement vanity, which took 6 weeks to deliver due to pandemic backlogs (meanwhile, we had no sink in our otherwise completed bathroom). And THEN the replacement cabinet was damaged, likely in Ferguson’s warehouse. Another 6 weeks for the 2nd replacement, though this time I went with ProSource, and they pulled through. I should have gone with ProSource in the first place. Ryan is always quick to respond to texts and phone calls. He explains things well and shares tips. There were a couple of misunderstandings down the chain, but it was small stuff. Ryan and his team reacted quickly during two home “emergencies” with my plumbing, not caused by his team, and they managed to keep the project on track and helped us out in a bind. We’re looking forward to working with Ryan on our kitchen remodel. We love our bathroom: thanks Ryan and team!

We hired Ryan’s Remodeling to put in an overhead kitchen island hood. The project was a little unusual because of the various limitations we had in the ceiling for the ventilation ductwork. Ryan’s team did a great job! Plus, we were amazed at how clean our kitchen was when he finished. Usually Sheetrock work ends up creating a dusty mess throughout the house. Ryan’s employees did such a great job with closing off the kitchen and then cleaning up afterwards that we didn’t have any dust anywhere. We will definitely use Ryan again. He is smart, ethical, and cares about each project he does.

Ryan is most responsive contractor I’ve ever hired. He is quick to respond and his work is exceptional! He built a garage for us in Minneapolis with very unusual lot lines. We searched for years to hire the right contractor to work with the city and get the necessary approvals/permits. If you’ve ever worked with the city of Minneapolis you may realize this can be quite an undertaking. But, Ryan stepped up and worked very hard to get the project approved. If it weren’t for him, I don’t think we would have a new garage yet. I highly recommend Ryan and his team!

Ryan and his crew are PHENOMENAL!!! They were friendly, they were punctual, and no doubt, they Are skilled!!! We recently decided to sell our home, and my mom’s home, and purchase a home that accommodates us all living under one roof, yet have our separate spaces. We found that home, with a lower level that had nearly everything my mom wanted…. Large living space, bedroom, bathroom, her own screen porch…. the only thing missing…. a Kitchen. Ryan and his crew took care of that. I really can’t say enough about how wonderful Ryan was to work with. He even met my mom at Menards to help her with the kitchen design and choosing the right materials. He’s an excellent business man… with an excellent and dependable crew. I could go on, but you know what they say…. “A picture speaks a thousand words”…. Well here are three. Thank you again Ryan and thank you Ryan’s crew. You guys are the BEST!

Ryan’s Remodeling has been a blessing for us. He’s already done 2 remodels on our home, and we’ve happily referred him to friends. In fact, he went so far above and beyond – making sure we had a working toilet during our bathroom remodel for my pregnant wife. Every single day. Happiness equals not having to convince your wife to use a bucket. Thank you, Ryan!
