My husband and I had looked for a contractor to remodel our master bath for quite some time. Either it was too expensive, would hugely disrupt the household for too long of a period, or they were booked too far out. That was until we met Brad & Katie. Western Idaho Builders promptly answered our call met with us with the next few days and came up with a reasonable quote and timeline, and a plan where we did not have to pack up and move out if our bedroom for months. Brad & Katie were excellent at helping us decide on design and materials. They were always in contact. Their foreman was such a delight to work with and have in our home for the number of weeks it took. We felt completely taken care of. Patrick did a fantastic job on our kitchen repair for water damage. He came and saw us within 24 hours to give us a bid on the job. His rate was honest and fair and he under promised but over delivered. We love that when paying for someone’s services. He did an immaculate job matching our flooring and making our kitchen look like there was never any damage at all. He also took the time to do little odd handy jobs around the house that I asked him to do while he was there and even helped us fix our fridge when our appliance tech couldn’t. I’m saving Patrick’s number because I know I’m going to need him again. 10/10 highly recommend!

A repeat customer… Once you find the right contractor, that does a great job and stands by their work, you tend to use them over and over. That is how it has gone with Zandy and On The Level. We have had a Great Room / Kitchen remodel, a Bathroom with removal of a Jacuzzi Tub and complete new shower, and finally a corner of our home that was getting dry rot behind some brick work repaired. Each project had it’s issues that needed creative solutions and upgrades. The kitchen walls weren’t the straightest even seen and getting the new counters and built in appliances installed was a challenge but the end result is spectacular. The cabinet work is the best I have ever seen. I have had rentals remodeled and other homes worked on in the past and other states and NONE of them comes close to the workmanship of this kitchen. We also had a custom wall unit with built in shelves and a TV inset with a gas fireplace on the same wall. It is the showpiece of the room. Once you have such success in one room, it is on to another a few years later, and who do we call? Zandy again! Our new shower, vanity and tile works are no less beautiful than our Great-room / Kitchen. Bottom line, after many years of enjoying our remodels, we are still happy. If you have a remodel that doesn’t go well, we have found that those little things that didn’t go well, stick with you. We don’t have any of those with Zandy. He makes sure the job is truly finished to your satisfaction. Finally, we found some dry rot happening on a corner of our home and the issue was a brick facade that wasn’t sealed properly on the top edge, moisture had worked it’s way in. Zandy had a mason that took the bricks down, one by one, cleaned them and saved them because we couldn’t find the same brick anymore. Once the repairs were done, the framing and siding, the bricks were put back up, and you would never know the work had ever been done. (Except the drainage seals were upgraded to work properly so it wouldn’t happen again.) So if you want to work with a contractor and person that is a man of their word, Zandy is it. Don’t go for the least expensive bid if you are bidding out, go for the one that you will feel better about, years from now. You won’t remember the difference in price, but you will the quality.

We just finished out 3rd project with Ogata. I can’t say enough good things about Ogata. The project was highly organized, any issues were addressed timely. They are very attentive to details, and don’t leave anything “not-right”, which isn’t easy to do with remodels. The project started and finished on time. Their website gives access to the project schedule and ability to communicate with Ogata staff. They have in-house staff who attend to many details and are on site as needed, and usually inspecting work a couple times a week. I would highly recommend them!!!
