Sheffield basements was a perfect fit for our basement finishing project. Everything flowed seamlessley from the initial basement walk to the final inspection and punch list. Schedules were met or exceeded during the whole process and communication was excellent. In addition to livable space we wanted a home theater that was open, yet accoustically functional, and found working with them and their preferred audio visual contractor to be a seamless process. We now find every excuse to spend time in the basement while catching up on great movies. I would definitely recommend using the Sheffield team for your basement project.

We needed to finish about 1,200 square feet in our basement. Sheffield dud a fantastic job. What I was most impressed with was that they were one-time and in budget. Many contractors will sell a schedule they know they can’t meet just to win the job and then they finish a lot later than they quoted. Not Sheffield. They stayed on track. Other contractors also will charge you change orders for things you thought were already included in the base bid, but we had no unexpected change orders with Sheffield. Quality and service were great, which is hard to find in a post-Covid environment.

What a wonderful experience we had! Never thought I would say that when it comes to construction. David did an outstanding job for us. We were located out of state while entrusting then to build out our basement. They were so easy to work with. They don’t cut corners and work efficiently the entire time. These photos were taken during the process, not at the finish. But it shows how clean they work, and how beautiful their craft is!

After twenty some years leaving our walkout basement unfinished, we started looking for finishing options. We received bids from four other contractors and choose Sheffield Homes over the others because of their project plans, the timing of all the phases, and their long-term partnerships with their sub-contractors. It has been the best decision we could have made. As a professional in the construction trades for over 60 years, Danny found Jeff, our project manager, to be one of the most professional and knowledgeable that he has encountered. All the trade partners were professional and did an amazing job. Everyone who has visited our new basement has said “WOW!!” before pointing out what they like the best.

My husband and I decided to finish our basement to add square footage and rooms without having to enter this crazy housing market, and it was one of the best decisions we’ve made. We met with several companies, but after meeting with David, Sheffield was the clear choice. The pricing was straight forward with no hidden fees. The only additional costs were things we selected and the associated costs were provided in order to make those decisions. The design center was easy to work with and very helpful in making our selections. Our project started on time, and finished on time and un budget, which is unheard of in this day and age. There were some bumps along the way, but our project manager Felipe was great at communicating and answering all of our questions. He kept the subcontractors on track while maintaining the quality of the work. Our overall experience was great, and we like our basement better than the rest of the house. Highly recommend this group for any of your building needs.

Completed a basement remodel April 2022. From beginning to end, VERY professional. Our project manager Jeff was terrific. Project actually started a few days early, Was completed timely. And very beautiful. if there were issues or questions along the way, they were answered right away and thoroughly. Would use again, and would not hesitate to recommend to any friends o family. 100%!

I’d give them 6 stars if I could. In my opinion, this is the best place you’ll find to refinish your basement or anything else. The reasons I chose to go with Sheffield were the fair prices, timeline, model and Dave Lewis happily & promptly answering what seemed to be 100 questions on my end. Not many places give you that much attention. Dave and Felipe are the dream team, I can’t say enough good things. They are both attentive, have integrity and actually care that you are getting the best product possible. Given that the market is crazy right now, Sheffield is still able to make their timelines and keep you posted every step of the way. It is a very collaborative process, but they handle everything. They also go above and beyond their call of duty. Felipe was here the other day and offered to help me move a couch that movers had left stuck in our stairwell. That is not the first favor he has done me. After the process is over, Dave and Felipe are still available if I notice anything small that needs to be fixed and deal with it immediately. I highly recommend using these folks.

When we decided to add an apartment to our unfinished basement we reached out to our home builder, Sheffield Homes. David Lewis, Project Manager for Sheffield Finished Basements & More, consulted with us and created a proposed architectural plan and quote in a very timely manner. We liked what we saw and decided to have them do the finish for us. Both David and Jason – the Site Supervisor, were great to work with. We needed to adjust a few things along the way, and they were flexible while providing sound advice for the changes. There was an open line of communication during the project, and they were very prompt in responding to any questions or concerns we had. They kept our project on schedule and on budget which was very impressive in a market with supply chain and labor shortages. The design center was also great in helping us pick carpet, tile and finishes that we are very happy with. The quality of our basement matches the rest of our house, and we are very pleased with the outcomes. We would highly recommend Sheffield Finished Basements and More.
