I gladly recommend Andrew’s team for a remodel. Polite, prompt, professional, clean, honest, and hard working is how I would describe the crew that worked in our home. We had a furnace closet converted into a regular closet. This involved demo, new dry wall (+mudding, sanding, texture, painting), a new light and flooring. The closet looks as though it has always been here (with the bonus of being pristine and ready to go!). We are very happy, and I’m so glad to have the space. As a bonus, when our cat somehow made it into the old grates, they happily helped retrieve him. They cleaned up after themselves, and left no mess. There also seemed to be an issue with our furnace going out as a result of turning off the power multiple times, and they kindly/quickly resolved it.

I had JG Decor remodel our bathroom and floor. I discovered them on Yelp and thoroughly read through all the reviews. Andrew showed me pictures of their previous jobs and explained the process professionally. Although I received some other estimates that were cheaper than JG Decor, I didn’t want to take the chance due to past bad experiences with other contractors. Andrew’s team cleaned the job site every day, and the results turned out exceptionally well. I have already recommended Andrew to some of my friends for their remodeling projects.

We got our master bathroom updated. Andrew and team did a great job. We had an issue with the shower after the project was completed. The team came out soon to fix issue. Thank you for working with us on our project!

We have used JG Décor twice: once for painting our full house exterior and once for painting our entire first-floor interior. We were completely happy with JG Décor’s performance both times. Andrew Jeon, the proprietor of JG Décor, is extremely easy to work with. We appreciated his recommendations and explanations for color and texture finishes with respect to our expressed goals. His workers were well-trained, polite, conscientious, and helpful. They went above and beyond our expectations and requests. For example, they disconnected and reconnected all of the pertinent home entertainment electronics perfectly without any effort on our part. When we have additional painting or remodeling work to be accomplished in the future, JG Décor and Andrew will receive our highest consideration. (Note: Yelp placed our location in San Francisco. It should have been LA HABRA, CA.)

Service lacks attention to detail. Would not use or recommend. Bathtub remodel, grout seeping out due to being set improperly. When I expressed my dissatisfaction a bunch of excuses and slander came my way.

Stay away from this company. I hired Andrew to do a full house remodel and greatly regret using him for my project. It was stressful from start to finish and many of the items agreed upon at the signing of the contract were never completed, mostly having to do with his electricians and plumbers. The ones that were completed were substandard. He has little to no control over his workers, some of whom showed up to work drunk. One of them actually admitted it to me and I had to send him home. The language barriers are enormous and he hides behind the vagueness of his communication when it suits him. Maybe the worst part was listening to him try and cover up their mistakes even going so far as to accuse me of sabotaging the project when it was clearly their mistake. I didn’t crack my own toilet and cause the shower doors to close improperly. I didn’t paint two rooms the wrong color or a slew of other issues that his workman clearly botched. He has one good guy in there – the cabinets. That’s it. Even those were filled with scratches and missing spots before I took possession. Don’t be fooled by the meek and mild manner that he approached his consultations with, you’ll meet a different guy after you hand him your deposit. If I had more time I’d probably file a lawsuit. I would hate to think anyone else would have to be subjected to this unprofessional, boarding on criminal behaviour. Save yourself the time, money and anguish and call someone else. Having someone mess up your home is intolerable and feels terrible. You get what you pay for and this company is cheap. Don’t be me. Best of luck.

Very pleased with the work of Andrew and his team at JG Decor on handling the interior lighting project at my home. The work did not come without it’s issues and I think Andrew should be communicating better with the clients as far as expectations. However his zeal and professionalism to see the work done properly, eclipses all those shortcomings. They came back and fixed one of my switches that was not working properly, with very little hassle. Great job!
