These guys put in a roof for us last year after a hail storm. They were with us from the initial inspection to well after the completion. The owner of the business is professional and polite and the workers did a great job of installing and cleaning up after completion. I would recommend them to anyone.

My experience with Rafter P Construction has been phonemonal! Everyone is professional, responsive and have followed through with what they said they would do! Even the “bumps” that can happen with construction of a home have been met with professionalism and either explanation of “why” it can’t be that way or correction, if needed. My only wish is that I found them sooner!!

Every time I encounter one of the employees driving they are rude, speeding, and generally don’t follow the rules of the road; I could mostly ignore that. This time 03.09.23 at 4:00 pm at Greenville Tractor Supply one of their two employees decided to be rude and verbally obnoxious to the lone cashier with the huge line, I guess patience and courtesy aren’t something they value at this company? I would call to report the behavior but I previously called about being run off the road by one of their trucks and got shouted at, so I don’t feel it’s worth my time. Hopefully people will take the company’s image as shown by the actions of their staff into account before spending their time and money with this business. This can be the greatest place around, but their employees actions speak volumes about their character.

Got a quote for a 30×40 metal building for $176,800 and it was absolutely a rip off. Wanted $20k just to do dirt work! I should have known better when the guy showed up in ostrich boots. They use Mueller buildings that gave an estimated cost for the building at $35k and their markup is x3. Go to the Mueller site and find better contractors. I understand making money is the game, but this is borderline exploitation. They don’t pass that profit on to their subcontractors, and they love to talk about being “luxury” yet we didn’t even design a luxury building. I would suggest you pass on these folks. They’re just ripping good people off.

I called to get a consult on a one-car garage, 1,000 sqft living space home. A conversation that did not last 10 minutes, I was given an estimate of $380k – $400k for this house. That is $235 – $250/sqft roughly. I called a general contractor in the area and he was blown away by that price. I am assuming this company goes over, above, and beyond for the houses they build. If you are in the middle-class then this builder will not be for you. I would revise their description as “luxury” custom home builder.
