I’ve used Abacus twice now and I’m very glad that I did. Their prices are very competitive, and they are very knowledgeable and professional. I’m kind of a hands-on person, and I watched them in both projects and can tell you without a shadow of a doubt they have the expertise that you will need. with any foundation project, I highly suggest that you hire an engineering firm first, then get your bids by sending out those specifications. That way you’ll be getting consistent bids, and you’ll be able to judge between them.

Austin Childers from Abacus comes and checks our elevation measurements every year and is always forthright with us about what he finds, without high-pressure sales. Some foundation companies act like your house will fall down if you don’t have the work done immediately. We never get this pressure from Austin and when we do get to the point where we need work done, we know who to turn to.

Austin was very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly during the visit, and helped diagnose the problem. As it turns out we only have cosmetic issues and he did not try to sell us any services that we did not need.

We had Blake come to check our pier and beam foundation. We noticed cracks forming on a newly rennovated home we purchased. He was knowledgeable and honest. He educated us on how to maintain our foundation. I was very thankful for this type of service as a first-time home buyer. I will definitely go back to them and refer my friends and family to them.
