The team at Structure Development NW were wonderful to work with in building our dream home. From design, to permitting, to the construction, they were professional, responsive, fun to work with and most of all they presented us with a beautiful, solidly built, custom home, to our specs, ON BUDGET, and ahead of schedule! Very rare these days! Now, 4 years later, we are still enjoying our new home with absolutely no issues. Only praise and gratitude for Dan, Scott, and their entire team. We highly recommend and would use Structure Development NW again in a heartbeat!

Structure did an incredible job with our house. From the big picture layout to the small details, you can see the thought and skill that was put into each aspect of the project. The project supervisor, Jason, was great to work with, and amazing in his coordination of all the many moving pieces. We feel incredibly lucky to have the chance to live in this house that was so thoughtfully, carefully built by this wonderful team.

We recently built our second home with SDNW. Dan, Scott and team were incredible (again) to work with. From pre-build to construction, they were always available and involved. Construction is a world with a lot of moving parts and personalities — add to it the logistical challenges of a post-COVID supply chain. Despite all that they hit the CO date with a home that didn’t disappoint. Don’t plan to ever build again…but if we did, we’d absolutely go with Dan and Scott.

We selected SDNW for our first custom home build based on some very good advice to ask subcontractors which builders they prefer to work with…SDNW was mentioned by many. They weren’t wrong. What we heard from many would be a very difficult and stressful process was made easy by SDNW. They guided us through the entire process from design to planning to budgeting to build to post build warranty and built an amazing home for us on time and on budget! We continue to recommend SDNW to anybody who needs a home built.

The house we purchased from Structure is lovely. However, the post-purchase warranty service and communication with the leading project manager could have been better. Commitments to complete remaining tasks were made and not met, with no proactive follow on or update to status. Upon asking for an update, the blame is passed onto hard-to-reach sub-contractors and only mentioned again once you do another follow-up. In addition, the business failed to communicate safety information upfront regarding the work that has to be completed post-purchase while the house is inhabited. For example, “horrible fumes will seep inside the house for at least 24 hours when concrete gets sealed outside.” It would be easy to mention this beforehand so one could prepare not to be home to avoid kids and pets breathing fumes. In sum, lovely house and below average experience post-purchase, which is very disappointing for an almost 2 million dollar purchase.

We were very pleased to have Structure as our contractor for the construction of our new home. Everyone was so friendly and helpful throughout every step of the project. We started with Dan and Maricass for the design of the home and then worked with Scott and Ben during the construction, with Dan overseeing everything. Our finished home was beyond expectations, we love it. Thank you SDNW for an unbelievable experience.
