I am thoroughly disappointed and frustrated with the abysmal service provided by Poythress Commercial Contracting. This company was contacted to install a pool in our Providence Creek neighborhood by our builder. First and foremost, the company has repeatedly missed crucial deadlines. Initially, the project was supposed to be completed by Memorial Day. However, that deadline came and went with no completion in sight. Next, we were assured everything would be done by the 4th of July, another promise that was blatantly broken. Now, as we approach July 12th, it’s clear that this deadline will also be missed. To add insult to injury, the quality of work done so far has been utterly unacceptable. The concrete they poured was substandard and required redoing. This is not just a minor inconvenience—it’s a major issue that speaks to their lack of professionalism and attention to detail. I urge anyone considering Poythress Commercial Contracting to think twice. This company clearly has taken on too many projects and our community pool has never been a priority to them. If you value your time and money, find another contractor.

I cannot say enough good things about this company. We bought a house from them in 2017 with no set backs, bad workmanship or anything I hear about throughout my neighborhood. Most of my neighbors around me have complained about this or that on their houses made by other builders, and I just listen knowing that I barely even have nail pops. One issue I had was that some electrical was bad on my exterior garage flood light, and they fixed it years later with no complaint. (I didn’t notice it was bad till years later. We never used the light. They fixed it within a week of me asking if they’d take a look at it) Thank you for the amazing home Kevin. This company in 10/10. -Clint Compean

We currently live in our second home built by Poythress Homes! If that doesn’t say enough I’ll tell you that as a custom home builder, they work with a great team of contractors for each trade involved in the building process.

Built with Terry and Steve in 2010-2011. They were easy to work with and very transparent about the building process. They built a great home for us and we have been very happy homeowners of a Poythress home!
