Webster Home Improvements, Inc. 6 years agoWebster is a scammer in bed with Home Advisor. In February 2018 Webster gave me a verbal quote of $3400 to replace concrete front steps which are 3 steps high and 40 inches wide. They then offered me a $700 discount if I would write a testimonial to be posted on Home Advisor. I called Home Advisor to complain about the $700 bribe and they said they would “monitor the contractor” which means they wouldn’t commit to address the fraud.

Sawcut 1 Inc 3 years agoI hired them to do some concrete saw cutting at one of my jobs. When I called to speak to them about the job, I explained exactly what the job was clearly. I even advised John that he should come out to look at the job and his response was “no, that’s ok I know exactly what needs to be done”. We agreed on a price and scheduled the job to be done on a Saturday at 8am. I received a call at 7am on the day of the job that they were there but weren’t going to do the job. I had one of my guys on the way there to supervise and asked him to please stay there until my guy arrived so we can work out whatever the issue was since this scope of work was holding up a lot of other work from moving forward. John was extremely rude, unprofessional, and he certainly did not conduct himself in a manner in which an owner should. His exact words were “it doesn’t matter what your guy says, we’re not doing this job”. He claimed that it was unsafe which didn’t make any sense to me or the General Contractor onsite. It was clear that for some reason he didn’t want to do the job. In order to keep the job moving I was then forced to go out and purchase the saw required to do the job and we completed it in a very safe manner. I will never use or recommend this company to anyone and would advise anyone using them to strongly reconsider specially if you are on a tight schedule.

JD Home Services LLC 11 months agoRecommended by a neighbor, John has done a number of repairs and replacements in my home. Toilet replacement, outlet replacement inside and out, curtain rod and hardware installation, spackle and sanding, vinyl gate repair . He confirms appointments and arrives on time and does clean up after himself! He makes sure everything is in working order before he leaves. He’s now my go-to . Thanks John!
