Nick’s Construction & Remodel a year agoHired Nick for a porch with awning to screened in porch area conversion. I would not recommend him for any project that someone wants done on a timely basis. Especially longer complex projects, I’d recommend someone else. IF there is a short (1-2 day) completion project then perhaps. For my experience timeliness was a skill Nick does not have. Timeline for my project was quoted as 6-8 weeks once work began it was a total of 15 months or a year and three months. We started our discussions on 7/6/2021 and I made my initial payment in August of 2021. Come November 2021 I asked for an estimated time remaining for the project to be completed and was told a couple of weeks. In a couple of weeks, the only deliverable was the concrete pad was poured. Come end of February, early March of 2022 I had to reach out to ask when would work resume. Was told work would begin middle of March 2022. He or his crew would show for a couple of hours a few days per week near the end of March so come mid-April we agreed on dropping $500 every month the project continues to not be finished. The last time estimate I requested was in August 2022 and I was given the date of August 25th. I’m including the highlights of our timeline, discussions of dates for perspective of why timeliness is not a skill I saw in Nick’s work. The project was not completed until September 23rd, 2022.
