Called 3 times. Left 2 messages for Brad. No response. Nice lady answered phone, took message but no call back. Guess they don’t need clients.

I’ve know Brad for a few years now and have worked with him on several projects. Being a photographer, I’m always looking at the details. Whenever I’m photographing a Nu Design Builders project, I immediately notice the detail in his craftsmanship. The other thing that is very unique about Brad is his ability to maintain good relationships with his clients during and way after the completion of his projects. I know this because a few months ago, my friend and I were invited to his famous “Crawfish Boil” that he puts on yearly. We had a blast and talked to many people. But the astounding thing was that at least haft the attendees we spoke to when asked “how they knew Brad” said they were past clients. So… In saying this… before you hire a builder, think about the “Crawfish Boil”. Just think about it.

I hired Brad, Danny and the team to do a design and draw up plans for our new home. After meeting with the team and giving them our specifics they drew up a rendering that was EXACTLY what we wanted. They then drafted the construction plans, got them sealed by the city of Winter Park and now we’re ready to go. They plans were exactly as we wanted, came in timely and at budget. Great work NuDesign Team!

My neighbor had Nu Design build an outdoor summer kitchen complete with tile roof that extended the lanai and cost about $70,000. I wanted the same exact for my lanai…So I called them. I talked with a lovely women who told me Brad would call me back. I waited three days and called back. I left a voice mail for Brad. I waited another 3 days and called back. No return on my call. The reason why I am leaving 2 stars instead of 1 is because my neighbor’s lanai turned out so beautiful. All I wanted is the same. So I’ve moved on to a new contractor. I will review my experience with him after my large project is completed.

The simple truth is Nu Design is a quality operation. Last year I purchased a home they built in Maitland. From the start, I dealt directly with Nu Design’s owner/CEO, Brad Fess, who was personally involved in both building the home and selling it. Regarding the sale, I’ve never dealt with a more honest and straightforward seller. Mr. Fess’ word and handshake are as good as gold. The entire process was seamless, and Mr. Fess was transparent, direct and fair through the closing and beyond. Nu Design went way beyond its contractual responsibilities both to ensure the highest quality workmanship, and on a personal level Mr.Fess clearly and genuinely cares about his clients. From the start, I was certain he had both a business and personal commitment to assure my family was comfortable and happy in the home. Though Mr. Fess also has an excellent staff of full time tradesmen, he insists on personal involvement in his projects. After the purchase, he also did custom renovations for us, and he came through with the same quality and professionalism. Their work is high quality and expeditious. Bottom line–Nu Design is honest, trustworthy, and dedicated to quality and client satisfaction.
