As a real estate agent, I brace myself when a client wants to tour new builds. The quality of new homes, not to mention the building process, varies vastly between builders. Black Timber is the first builder I encourage buyers to explore. Their homes are built to exacting standards, their representatives are exceedingly organized and responsive, and they are honest and reliable. Their sales manager, Robbie, is earnest in his desire to ensure you get what you seek, and cares that the end product reflects the quality you would expect from a top-tier builder. I could not be more pleased (or impressed) with the process or product.

From the very start of our home building journey, Black Timber was professional and very responsive to our questions and concerns. After we moved in, that continued throughout our entire first year of occupancy. They were easy to work with and fixed every issue we had quickly and efficiently. This was our second home build and Black Timber was by far the superior builder in every way.

We purchased a townhome from Black Timber in June and they have by far been one of the best new home experiences we have had. They are always very responsive and have handled any new home issues that have come up quickly and without question. They worked through our punchlist quickly and sent out various trades to fix any issues that arose without question, we appreciate their timely response to everything. Overall their build quality was much better than other new homes we toured in the area and their attention to trim, fixtures, and details throughout the homes is above your standard “builder” home. We have only lived in them a short time but would definitely recommend them if you are looking in the area.

Black Timber Builders completed a bathroom and hallway remodel for my wife and I this summer and our experience was exceptional. Although my project was pretty small compared to what these guys normally do, they still gave the project a tremendous amount of attention. I work in the construction business and I know that the quality of workmanship and professionalism demonstrated by these guys is something rarely found in the modern construction industry. Not only were they great at their job, all of the guys were very friendly and fun to be around. My dream is to build a home one day. No doubt, I will have Black Timber build it. Thanks to Colin, Kyle, Logan, Mike and all of your great subcontractors as well!

On a scale of 1 to 5 stars, Black Timber Builders is a 10! Mike and Kyle and all their subs are honest, professional, hard-working and conscientious. Choosing the right builder is the key to a successful project and I can’t recommend Black Timber more highly. It was truly a pleasure to work with Mike Kalil; his patience and attention to detail are exactly what a client needs on the job. Mike stayed on top of the daily issues so my remodel moved forward at lightning speed. My gorgeous home is entirely the result of Mike’s and his subcontractors’ hard work. I’m thrilled by the end result and I love my home; it was an all-around positive experience from start to finish. Thank you, Black Timber Builders!
