We hired DeArmond Construction to build a large outdoor entertainment area. We can’t give zero stars, or we would have. We have had many construction projects completed at our home and this is the first time that we’ve had a totally bad experience. To make this review short, I will just say that Terry DeArmond did not perform in a manner that is anywhere close to acceptable. He was months behind schedule and has never completed all of the contracted work. We have filed a complaint with the California State Licensing Board. CSLB hired an Industry Expert to review DeArmond Contracting’s work on our project. The Industry Expert’s report itemized FIVE separate areas of the construction project that were not completed to industry standards!! And that’s not even counting the portions of the project that he didn’t even do! It also doesn’t take into account the MONTHS that our yard was a construction project…on a project that had a contractual term of 45 days!! Update: The California State Contractor Board found that Terry DeArmond did not complete our project to industry standards and we were granted compensation to have the work completed by a responsible, honest contractor.

We recently remodeled most of our home with Terry and his team of subcontractors. Terry and his team did a great job of listening to what we were looking for. His pricing is very competitive, and their quality was great. They were all very respectful of our home, our dogs, and wishes. They were even thoughtful to remodel our home in a way that minimally impacted our ability to cook and reach our bedrooms. Would I use Terry again? Absolutely! We intend to remodel our bathrooms on the next round and expect Terry and team to perform the same quality work when that time comes. I also used Terry for some of our building moves and TI and received the same great customer service, communication, and quality of work. I recommend DeArmond Construction for your home and commercial needs. There is nothing Terry and team cannot handle from smaller jobs to custom homes, and your commercial needs. He’s your trusted general contractor! Thanks again Terry, we love our new home!

All the trades performed perfectly and did top notch work, especially his cabinetmaker. Terry and his crew were prompt, communicated perfectly, he let me know the schedule and what would be happening on what day, his price was within my budget, and he was a total professional in every aspect. He even advised me on things that I was not aware of to avoid situations down the road.. I could not be happier with Terry and his company. Terry is just fantastic. I honestly can’t say enough wonderful things about working with him. He completely remodeled a 5,000 square foot office building in Murrieta. We were working from Orange County and would come out once a week to see the progress. It was completely gutted and redesigned. Not only did he do it in an amazing time frame, he was always patient and listened when we needed to make changes. Unlike other office buildings, this one was designed more like a home, which meant more attention to detail. He did it all: cabinets, lighting, flooring, raising the ceiling, building walls, tile, plumbing, paints, AC, fire. He was extremely knowable on the city codes. Everything Terry did was perfect and the highest quality. His crew was always so helpful and easy to work with. He also had great ideas for saving money, which was always appreciated. Because of his many years in the area, he knew the best places to buy from and the highest quality sub contractors. Our customers come into the office and think it looks amazing and unique. Our employees enjoy coming to work because is it such a warm, welcoming place. We are beyond pleased with the results. We are very grateful for his effort and truly enjoyed working with him.

His main carpenter all around craftsman Steve answered any questions that we had. You will be very6 pleased with there work on time and on budget. They will go the extra mile for you.
