I will start this review with a positive since I did give it 1 star. I enjoyed Tim on personal level. He was responsive. However his attention to detail, quality of work, honesty and lack of professionalism deserve less than one star. I had him remodel a small bathroom for us. The work was extremely sloppy. We started the remodel in 2019 and it is still not completed. We have found chipped tile, chipped bathtub (brand new), tiles placed unevenly, cracked grout, uneven baseboards, sloppy paint job, faucet and brand new shower head already not working, fan vent installed improperly…the list really goes on. I had to let go of Scripps Ranch Restoration and remodeling and find another contractor to provide quality work. Someone who would take pride in their work. Which unfortunately, Tim did not. I would stay far away from this company. In fact, I’m not sure how they are still in business with the quality of work they give. It’s really unfortunate that we were taken advantage of by this company. He saw we were new to remodeling and his quality of work shows the respect he has for his clients.

I just had my master bath remodeled by Tim Forrey of SR Restoration and Remodel and I couldn’t be happier. I had interviewed two other contractors (one at a very low bid), and yet when I met Tim, I felt comfortable and confident that he would do a good job. The remodel of my 1972 bathroom, which included removing a wall, was completed ahead of time in less than 4 weeks and it is BEAUTIFUL. Tim was at the house multiple times a day making sure the work was done perfectly and he responded to every call/text that we made. The result far exceeded our expectations. Tim Forrey is honest, hard-working and competent and runs a tight ship. All of my other neighbors had horror stories about delays in their remodels but not me. Our bathroom is amazing. I can’t say enough good things about this company.

I had a similar experience to Dawn’s. Tim is not upfront about his pricing. Get everything UP FRONT & IN WRITING. Otherwise, you’ll regret it like me. Or, better yet, find another contractor.

I did not actually have work performed by Tim Forrey, however please consider my experience with Tim, if you are looking for a licensed General Contractor. I contacted Tim forrey of Scripps Ranch Restoration and Remodeling seeking bids to complete a job abandoned by a prior contractor. Tim felt knowledgeable and professional in his response by phone and was sympathetic to the situation. However, even knowing the situation he pressured me to agree to him as the new contractor prior to me even receiving his bid! He stated that if I was going to go thru the process of getting 2-3 bids that he couldn’t spend the time walking the jobsite and putting up an estimate, yet would be willing and able to begin that week. Recouping the walkthru and estimate time are a typical part of ny contractors experience and I did NOT appreciate the attempt to pressure or bully me in to taking him on for the job. A good contractor is one that knows his experience and attention to detail will be displayed with his quality estimate and detailed contract and supported by his work. Anyway just a heads up.
