Southern Remodel a year agoWe hired this company to perform a pretty extensive kitchen remodeling, which included removing old cabinets and a built-in pantry, installing new cabinets and appliances, repairs to drywall. Initially we did not plan to install new flooring, but decided that it was a good time to do it, so we added this project. This company was very good at accommodating the changes in the scope of the overall project and adjusting their schedule to meet the delivery of cabinets, appliances, and the quartz countertop. Because this is a small company, they can be very accommodating, but also unable to commit more than one person to a job, which means that any delays and schedule changes may be compounded by them starting another job. This is understandable an not uncommon, but one has to take that into accounts when planning a project like this. Overall, we are very happy with our new kitchen and the quality of the workmanship. Whatever issues we pointed out, generality small, were quickly remedied. We trusted and came to like the people in this company. We may hire them again, but this time we will request a detailed description and a checklist of the work to be performed. This time we relied on the informal, “handshake” agreements, and with the changes in scope, it became somewhat difficult to keep track of all the moving parts.
