I had them paint a standing shower and tub and both started peeling. They won’t answer my calls or return my messages even though they claim to provide a “lifetime warranty”. I will be disputing the charge with my credit card company and advise everyone else too as well.

I do not trust this company. I would not recommend them to anyone. They did work in my house. They had to come back within the next two days to fix it and now there are cracks popping up in my floor of my shower, and they refuse to return phone calls they don’t ever answer their phone, horrible business. I gave them a one star rating because I had to push at least a star I would not even rate them that high. They are that bad. The photos are cracks in my shower that are popping up and growing. They still don’t respond to me.

Beware of this company. Specialized Refinishing’s warranty is worthless. Had them refinish a tub. At first the job looked good, but two days later, the finish started peeling up around the drain. I called and texted their office multiple times but could only get their voice mail (no matter which of their phone numbers I called) but no one would return my calls. They did answer right away when I called and texted from different phones however. They obviously screen their calls. Apparently, their business practice is to answer calls for possible new business, but ignore calls from past customers with warranty issues. When I finally made contact, they told me that they have no technicians available to repair the tub and could not say when they would fix it. After several more days and still no word, I emailed them that if they did not make good on their warranty or refund my money, I would be posting Google reviews and contacting the BBB. Only then did they respond with a message that someone from “corporate” would contact me the next day. No one called. Further research into this company showed that their “locally owned offices” are apparently just rented virtual offices, and the only real office is in North Carolina. Their office staff seems to be just one person, the “manager”, Kelly. There are a lot of legitimate tub refinishing companies. Despite their impressive website and good reviews (real?), Specialized Refinishing is not one of them. Once again, Beware!

Steve did an amazing job on both of my bathrooms! He took his time and explained everything he was doing. My stuff was covered and he had an exhaust vent with him so there was minimal mess after. I’m so happy with how new my bathrooms look now and have been recommending you guys to everyone I know!

1 st picture is the new color, we chose gray. The 2nd picture navy blue was what our shower color was. Very pleased with the color we picked. My husband and I are very pleased with the job that was just done in our master bathroom. Santiago Leon was super professional, and his knowledge came through every step of the way. So pleased.
