Been using them forever. Bob was handling everything, but Michael and Dominic have taken charge. The absolute best. Timing, efficiency, honesty, and price. Also the nicest people. Wouldn’t choose anyone else. They were even able to locate my cesspool when another company said it was under the deck, which it wasn’t. Awesomeness all around.

These guys are the best! Extremely honest, great prices, and the best customer service you could ever dream of! I had some cesspool issues a couple of years ago, and they treated the system and gave a 1 year guarantee. After several months had the same issue, and they came back and treated again, no charge! Eventually, I needed a new system (septic tank, cesspool, etc.), I got several quotes, and these guys were the best. Everything went smoothly with the install (arrived promptly early in the morning on schedule and they were in and out in a day)! No issues with the system since! Two years later, we had a very heavy rain, and I noticed the ground had sunk a little where old cesspool had been. I called up Andy, and he says he’ll come check it out. Arrives early, checks out the area, informs me it is just settling nothing to be concerned about, and just to put some topsoil on to level out the yard. He then shows up a few days later, fills the area with topsoil and leaves before I even have a change to thank him, no charge! Andy is quite possibly the kindest, most honest businessman out there on long island, makes sure his customers are taken care of, providing excellent services for a great price! I cannot recommend more highly!

I rarely post reviews but I feel AJS Cesspool, especially Andy deserves an excellent review. I had him service my cesspool and paid him once..I had problems with water filling up when I was abroad and he serviced it and again recently when it was backed up. He didn’t charge me again but most importantly, its the reliability that I want to highlight..he said he will be there in an emergency and he did and took care of it. Thanks for the professionalism.

We had sewage backing up and AJS arrived quickly and resolved the problem. They did the septic tank service in one day and explained to me the proper way to maintain the system since then I’ve referred them to four of my neighbors

My wife and I had water backing up into our basement. Our plumber recommended calling a cesspool company and we found AJS online with great reviews. The owners/brothers, Andy and Bobby, came to assess the situation. They first emptied my overflow at a fair price, but when the problem was not fixed, they came back at 8pm that nice to unclog my pipe at no additional charge. Highly recommended.

I called another company to get quotes before calling AJS and was told they could fix my problem. I explained that I had a backup in my basement toilet and stall shower. They said I needed my cesspool pumped. $175 to locate the cesspool, $95 a foot to dig, then $595 plus tax to aerate and treat the issue, and they would be at my house within an hour or 2. Thank God I called AJS next. They called me back within 2 minutes, asked me info about my house and then told me that if I pump the cesspool based on the age of my home there’s a possibility that the cesspool would collapse. They can be there in a half hour to 45 minutes to do the job, aerate and treat for $325 plus tax, and it’s good for 1 year warranty. Well, Andy and Bob from AJS showed up within a half hour and did a phenomenal job. I had just had back surgery and they asked if I had a shop vac for them to use. They moved stuff in my garage and got the shop vac, used it and moved everything back in the garage for me because they knew I had just had surgery. They fixed my issue, were extremely knowledgeable, so nice, cleaned up and left costing me $350, instead of the $1k plus it could have cost me. I will be using them for all of my future issues, if I have any. I would 100% recommend them to anyone having a problem. I can’t say enough about them. Professional, Fair, honest and caring.
