We had an issue with our septic system. We called LaRoche’s for assistance. They were prompt, courteous, knowledgeable, and diligent to solve our problem. George, Dave, Nate, and Devon worked as a finely tuned team to get us back in working order. It was a pleasure to witness their expertise and kindness and respect for each other and to us.

We had LaRoche’s out during a big septic emergency backup. They were the only ones to pick up the phone after hours! I spoke to Jackie and she helped calm me down and told me technicians would be there as soon as possible! They came out quickly and communicated efficiently. They were clear on pricing and I will absolutely use them again and recommend them!

Pros: prompt, knowledgeable, did a good job. Cons: EXPENSIVE, bills are unclear and late to arrive. 2 pumps and installation of a new 1/2 hp sump pump, total bill was $4041. That was after $250 discount. Details below. They came out August 2023 to check why the red light was on. The sump pump went out. So they pumped the tank and ordered a new sump pump, which was “special order” since it needed to be a bigger, 1/2 hp pump. it took 3-4 weeks to arrive, which required another manual pump about 2 weeks after the first one. When the new pump arrived they installed it and that was the end of it. 9/15/23 was the completion date. Bill 1 arrived promptly for $585. I paid it immediately. Turns out this was for the 2nd pumping and they gave me a $250 discount since i had to wait for the new sump pump to arrive. Bill 2 arrived in December for $745. My memory is unclear about the circumstances of this bill but i thought it was weird it came so late after the 1st bill, and I must have thought it was for the new sump pump. Turns out this was the bill for the 1st pumping. Bill 3 arrived APRIL 12, 2024 for $2,711.06. I assumed this was done by mistake, since i already spent $1330 last year. nope. “that’s what a 1/2 hp sump pump and installation costs”. They must have gotten the Rolls Royce of sump pumps because they should cost $500-$1000 TOPS, and installation took all of 15 minutes. For that price the sump pump better last 50 years. I begrudgingly paid the bill but will not use them again. Absolute robbery. Sucks since it’s a family-owned business and they were nice enough when I argued on the phone and they did a good job. But $4041 for 2 pumpings and a new 1/2 hp sump pump is too much. I recommended them to 2 neighbors but after telling them my bill they are not using Laroche’s.

Dave and the apprentice accompanying him did a great job with my clogged basement drain. He was timely, efficient, and not only fixed the problem, but also gave me an education on why it happened as well as some tips on how it can possibly be avoided going forward. I hope to avoid these problems, but if they ever come up again I know who I am going to call!

I have used LaRoche’s for several years for my pumping services. They have always done great work at reasonable prices. I recently had an issue with my system that needed timely care. They once again delivered. I appreciate the service that a smaller business tends provide and LaRoche’s didn’t disappoint!

Had sewage back up on a Friday afternoon in my basement and I called and they sent three guys over within an hour to clear it out. They were knowledgeable and extremely professional. Dave went especially above and beyond to make sure my issue was resolved. Thank you!

100000% recommend these guys. I called at 3am, they were here at 630am fixing my sewer. Their customer service is top notch and 100% fair… I will be using them and only them from this day forward.. thanks guys for everything you did, my family appreciates you so much.
