Had a service scheduled 3 weeks in advance. The day of the service I get a phone call in the morning stating the gentleman who was assigned to my job has been hurt. I understand and asked if anyone else could sub to get it done as I have a very busy schedule and not many days off. The receptionist told me to call Lloyd’s Plumbing!!?? In a panic I did call Lloyd’s who apologized for another company treatment then said they’d fit me in today. Then 20 minutes later I get a phone call back from Janesville Plumbing saying the could still make it happen at the same time. This literally cause me undue stress and panic. Then Ronnie shows up he’s polite and we bit talkative but eventually gets started. They he leaves for a part, then another, and then another. I do understand unforseen things. He even stated that it wasn’t what he thought. Anyway, so the first almost 2 hours was him not actually working more like me paying him to drive. Ronnie did fix everything but he also stated I would get a small discount for all the earlier confusion. I attempted to write out a check and he stated the company would invoice me. My service date was May 24 and I just received my invoice today July 6th, unacceptable. To compound my sheer frustration with the entire experience, the invoice blew me away. I expected based on what I was told around $700, my invoice is $1000, with a big Ole misc fee of part for $350. Hmm, they are crooks. As a mother of four scrapping by, Janesville Plumbing should be ashamed of themselves. I will never be returning. Call Lloyd’s!!!!!

Double billing is their middle name. They do not write complete work orders but they bill you for the labor parts anyway. Then they send them back out to complete the work and want to bill you again. Then they waited 4 months and tried to bill you again with a corrected work order but no mention that previous work order/payment. I have the cancelled check and will be reporting them to the state of WI. The office staff runs interference I don’t know if they owner is aware of just how crooked or stupid the office staff is and do not think I could ever be allowed to speak to owner. OH and they turned me over to collection for a bill four months old I paid. And they changed the w/o notifying me of the worker and tried to double bill 2 trips.. STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS THEY ARE CROOKS.

Started a job did not complete it. Charged a lot of money. That 50.00 fee to drive three miles is just wrong. Do not give bill at time of completion must wait then charge even more for Credit Card processing. I’m not impressed.

I’ve used them a couple times and they are quick to get out and get it done. They get 5 stars for that even though the work isn’t always always perfect. Just had them over and the shower valve was tilted some and the shower head lead pipe was out of level by a half inch over 3 feet. Small gripe, but for some people that might be big deal.

A 50.00 trip fee!!! Their explanation: “We charge a $50 service charge to every service call. It covers overhead costs such as gas, trucks, insurance etc. Doesn’t matter if you are in Janesville, Beloit, or anywhere we service.” I almost called the office to tell them someone stole their fancy truck and was out making calls! Clearly the guy they sent did not want to break a sweat. Spent about 20 minutes on actual work and 55 minutes being dismissive (Drain leaking: “Can’t replace that. I’ve never seen a drain like that” “We don’t get our parts from big box stores.” ” That toilets not loose it’s the toilet seat”). All that resulted in 1-1/4 hours @ 125.00/hr billed plus a 50.00 trip fee.

We’ve called on Janesville Plumbing three times in the last couple of years, with the most recent being August 2023. Professional service and quality work all around. Highly recommend. Shout outs to a few people: Chris, who answered my calls, scheduled appointments, and sent quotes. All communication (phone and email) was prompt and professional. Scott, who asked lots of questions and came up with a unique solution for our somewhat unusual plumbing situation with regard to hose bib placement. Thanks for thinking outside the box and coming up with a functional solution. Bryant, who lead the crew last month for installation of underground water lines in our landscape. The team of 3 worked efficiently and cleaned up the area thoroughly when they were done. We’re very happy with the results.

Did a great job when they changed out the guts to the toilet and then fixed the crack in copper pipe by replacing it. We’ve called them before about our kitchen sink too. They are quick at fixing things and very reasonably priced. We like them and will definitely use them again for any plumbing issues.

Janesville Plumbing will do what it takes to get the job done right ! ! In October 2021 they put in new appliances, piping and ducts. In spring 2022 they had to rip out everything that had been and rip out a bathroom b/c I needed new basement floor and walls. After dealing w/concrete curing, electrical , construction, product ,and client issues, Joe S and TJ created a wonderful basement bathroom ! They could not have been nicer or more patient during this stressful ordeal. See before and after photos.
