They replumbed my house and didn’t even pressure test it before leaving. It’s a good thing I’m comfortable in my 18″ crawl space otherwise I might never have noticed it. They did come out and fix it, but it was an egregious mistake. They also improperly installed my tankless water heater in a way that caused freezing of the condensation line in the winter. They “fixed” it last year but the fix wasn’t really a fix. Someone came out and thawed the line but when they applied heat tape to fix the issue, they didn’t apply it properly or even on the part that was freezing. A year later it happened again, they came out again to “fix it.” This time was even WORSE with a makeshift condensation line made from PEX. The guy tried to use an expansion fitting for the PEX to attach it to a regular NPT threaded PVC pipe. Needless to say it fell off within a day. This process also caused the plastic pipe nipple on the water heater to break off. I designed and 3D printed a custom coupling to put it back together then installed heat tape PROPERLY and it hasn’t been an issue since. Don’t call yourselves “Done Right Plumbing” then go on to make amateur mistakes that a DIYer has to clean up. They also give out coupons for 5 star reviews, so be wary of those! Edit: you’ll notice in their response the way they treated me during the process. They kept saying they “were trying” but failed to realize that isn’t enough. They say “we came out on the coldest day of the year” as if it were a favor and not fixing a job they did improperly due to cutting corners. Especially when their “fix” actually made it WORSE! I’ll give them credit that they did refund this repair after I pointed out the problem. I didn’t even mention everything. I didn’t mention the dirty, old fiberglass they just stuffed into the unit. I didn’t mention how a ton of it fell behind my heat pump unit and got stuck in the radiator, reducing the efficiency of the unit. They didn’t notice and I had to vacuum it out, causing slight damage to the radiator fins that now needs to be combed out which is nearly impossible given where the unit is installed. They fail to understand the difference between them as people and them as a business. This is not a rating of the individual people. They don’t seem to understand that. This is a rating OF THE BUSINESS AS A WHOLE. Don’t work with people who pretend they’re being “bullied” when a customer tires of their poor work. They take feedback personally and get personally offended if you aren’t happy with the work, even if the work was done poorly.

Done Right has worked three excellent jobs for me and I will call them whenever I need them again. The first two jobs involved replacing my electric water heater and replacing my broken gas furnace, and the third was tracking down and fixing a water leak by reseating a toilet. All well executed with attention to customer satisfaction.

I called Done Right on a Friday afternoon when I discovered a burst pipe. They came out promptly and determined where the leak was located. While they were not able to repair it immediately, the came out first thing Monday morning and quickly repaired the leak. Excellent service, quality work, friendly people. I cannot recommend them enough.
