Our usual person used to be Bert, but Chase did a great job figuring out the problem when we called A1 this time. We ended up needing to replace some of our cast iron plumbing with PVC, and with the assist from Jamie and Steve, Kaige and Bryson just finished up today! Thank you to the whole team for doing great job. 🙂 Edit months later: The new piping that they installed is leaking, and now sewage from the upstairs bathroom is flowing straight into our downstairs bathroom through the ceiling. We have spent multiple days now trying to contact A1 to have someone come out to fix the problem: we were stood up for the appointment we had for today, and were told when we called back that NOW the earliest opening is Monday. It took additional arguing to even get a Friday appointment even after they were convinced it should be a “high priority item”. We have already payed 15k over the last six months to this company, so if there are major additional costs/water damage, I will update with that.

What a great experience! Shower and sink faucets need total replacement, I was expecting that. What I wasn’t expecting was a reasonable price. Justin went over everything with me, materials & labor, and didn’t talk to me like I was stupid. I’d already priced a few items so I’d have a reference. A1 was better than expected.

James was an excellent service technician. Installed gas water heater with side loop connections for space heating upstairs. Arrived on time and was very professional and courteous. Have used A1 several times for new water heaters and have always had quality work done.
