After having several quotes I finally went with Thurgood Plumbing and HVAC. Not only did they have the best price but they were the most knowledgeable about what I needed done. I had a gas line put in for a gas stove. They were very professional and efficient. Now 2 years later I’m dealing with a water heater issue that I’m trying to replace myself and I wasn’t sure about the gas line calculations. So I called and asked if they had the information from my account, which they did, and then proceeded to ask them a ton of questions about how to do it myself and they talk to me on the phone for at least 30 minutes explaining everything I needed to do to bring it up to code and the best water heaters to buy as well as anything else they could think of to help me. This is definitely my go-to for plumbing and HVAC and I will highly recommend them to anyone all day everyday. Update. I finally decided that it would be too difficult and time-consuming to do the work myself and had Thurgood come and install a new water heater as well as a water softening system. Anthony Biven was the technician that did the work for me. He was absolutely awesome. Very professional and very knowledgeable. He explained everything that he did and showed me how everything worked before he left. Once again I will always go to Thurgood for all my plumbing needs.

Todd was great; he listened to me about the problem and was very professional in tackling a big project and getting it done when we needed it. We have lived in Utah for most of my life (over 40 years) and have always been happy to have used Thurgood Plumbing). I feel like they are always very honest and transparent AND have great plumbing skills honed from decades of experience. Thanks, Todd, you did a great job!

Anthony did an amazing job! He was so friendly and professional. I will be using him for all of my plumbing needs in the future. I called him for a leaking tub faucet and was so happy with him that I added on an endless water heater, a new water softener, and 3 extra faucets! We are so happy with the final results. Kevin thoroughly checked under our sink for any leaks. He tightened any loose fittings and replaced the tubing for our RO system, so there would be no leaks. We were very pleased with how thorough he was. He even tested our water & Water pressure. He advised getting a specialized coconut carbon filter That has to be custom-made. He noted our TDS numbers in our water was high.
