Signed up for the tune-up service through Home Depot. Tech came out and looked at both my units, said they both were good. 4 hours later I get a notification from my smart thermostat saying that I have a problem with my upstairs AC unit. I called Berkeys back out to fix whatever the problem was that I did not have before they came out. New tech comes out, long story short, I all of a sudden have an issue with a part that is going to cost me 635.00 to fix. For 7 years I had no issues and all of a sudden a part breaks after they visit. I will never use this company again, and I am going to let Home Depot know of my experience. They may not want to be partners with such a crooked company

Right at the start of a hot, hot Texas summer, our A/C stopped working late yesterday afternoon. We have been loyal to another HVAC company for years, but we had used Berkey’s last year for a plumbing issue and had a great experience. When our regular company said we’d be waiting (and sweating!!) for 11 days, we decided to give Berkey’s a try. They had someone over to look at it within an hour. We had a plan in place within 2, and the team showed up first thing this morning to do all the work. Turns out what we were replacing hadn’t been installed up to code in the beginning, so we also needed electrical, gas and roof work. All that happened within the first half of this day, and now we are enjoying cool air again. I will never use anyone else! We so appreciated the professionalism and patience of: Benjamin Lam, Cesar Garcia, Ernesto Rodriguez and Luis Herrera. Very highly recommend Berkey’s now for plumbing and HVAC and electric.

Done with Berkeys- they installed my new system 2 years ago, and it took 4 tech visits to actually hook it up correctly. It has been operating ok, but their BAM program is a joke. I just cancelled the membership- they have ZERO availability to come inspect their system anytime during the actual summer, when it’s needed. Went through this last year with them, and was talked out of cancelling then…..Bottom Line: there are better companies here in the Metroplex for installation/service

A/C had been out for two days before it was diagnosed as a faulty circuit breaker late evening. Called Berkeys and was able to schedule an electrician for the next day. Hunter Harcourt came out and confirmed the circuit breaker was bad, replaced it and stuck around to make sure the A/C started up. Happy for the great customer service and will definitely use Berkeys again.
