Joe came out the same day I called about a leak in the water meter box. Turned out to be a section of PVC pipe, which he repaired. Also installed a new cut off valve and meter box. He also checked the water pressure and found it was pretty high even with the leak. He recommended installation of a PRV, and because he is a master plumber and what he said made sense we had him do it. He and his helper did the work in a couple of hours (working through some serious rain – they put up a tarp). Highly recommend J.C. Enriquez and Son Plumbing; they are who we will call if (when!) we need a plumber in the future.

RUN FROM THIS COMPANY!!! Techs were no shows to two appointments…no communication! The owner j.c was rude and uncooperative. Tech insisted we pay before the service and when we requested to pay after the service they refused to perform. Tech also informed home warranty service that home owner and technician almost got into an altercation, which was a flat out lie. Make sure to check their yelp reviews. 0/5 Stars worst company I’ve ever dealt with. Update: Company responded months later with lies I won’t waste energy entertaining. My personal recommendation is to save yourselves the headache and get your quotes. They were charging my home warranty $1200 for what the next vendor did for $400.

Called for water heater repair/service and got a prompt service call time. Technician was on time and polite. They were able to locate a breaker switch on the water heater unit that had tripped and got things running again and thus for the purposes of getting my unit working again, I’m giving 3 stars. The rest of the experience was rather poor though. I don’t have a Rheem water heater so the technician suggested I would need a replacement as I likely have a lot of sediment built up and might be the source of the breaker being tripped (very well could be true). He attempted to drain the water heater by attaching a hose, but as suspected, sediment clogged the drain valve. There was no further trouble shooting or service offered (it was a bit of a tight fit to work on my unit with some stored items in the garage, to be fair), and again I was told I would need a new Rheem unit to replace my current one. I declined and stated I wanted to look around and think about it and I was of course pushed further and reminded that the $250 dollar water heater service charge would be waived if I bought a new water heater. These are classic extortion tactics by brand-slinging service companies and it gets old. While I’m thankful my problem was solved and I paid the 250, to claim that my water heater was “serviced” is wrong. There was no back-rinsing, or trouble shooting the drain valve, or clearing it with a wire. There was no checking of voltage across my heating elements or thermostats to verify they are functioning well. Just an attempt to pin me into buying a replacement unit, and an end to the service call when I didn’t want to do that. I later flushed the water heater myself with a bit of research and got the vast majority of sediment out and things are working well again for now. Again, my problem was solved, but it was a silly oversight by me to miss the breaker and certainly wasn’t 250 dollars worth of time/labor. I’m sure these folks are great if you bought a water heater from them and have a service plan. They are local and family owned it seems. Just be cautious if you call for service and don’t have a Rheem.

Good local owned plumbing company. Quick installation of my new water heaters. They took the time to explain everything and answered all of my questions.
