winston’s remodeling assembly and installations 5 months agoWe hired Winston in January 2024 to install a clip together floor, texture the walls and paint them, take baseboards off and install two doors. He didn’t know how to install the floor. We had to rip out all the flooring up that he did. When he took out our baseboards he put holes in our walls every where. Cracked in all the floors he put down. It should have been easy since they snapped together. On texturing the walls and ceilings he left the equipment in such a mess that it took hours to clean. It wasn’t even ours. On installing our doors he used the wrong screws, instead of cutting from the bottom and having it fit. He tore out our floors and was cutting from bottom so we have gaps at the top of doors. We would tell him he could start as early as 8am and he never would show up until after 1pm. Then he wanted to work late and we would not let him. There are tools that were not ours that are missing. He would ask for an advances to pay his help and we found out he never gave his help a dime. He’s not a good guy. His work was so bad that we finished the work ourselves. We waste our time and money on hiring him. We won’t make that mistake again. We do not recommend him to anyone who needs work done. Do yourself a favor and find a different guy to do your remodeling.
