I worked with them twice and was very satisfied both times. 1st when Palmetto Electric sub contracted them to put in our new water heater and based on that positive visit, a second time when i needed a leaky shower fixed. From Scheduling to Installation, great to work with. Would Recommend!

To begin, I have used this company before, probably a year or so ago. The interaction back then was good and so when I had another plumbing issue they were the first company I thought about and called. The issue at the home was that the kitchen sink would clog and my tenant would unclog it with a cheap pipe snake only for this to happen again. My tenant stated that this happened 3 or 4 times and he thought there was a bigger problem. No Problem. I called Low Tide and they were very responsive and promptly scheduled to come out and take a look at it on a Thursday evening. I did not receive a call or update from my tenant or from Low Tide. Only a bill the next day that stated “Base rate of one labor hour @ $150.00/hour: Called out to inspect the kitchen sink set up for a potential blockage where the kitchen sink was clogged and tenants cleared themselves. Filled both sink basins and then drained several times with no issues, drained with positive flow.” Basically they ran water down the drain and everything was fine. When I asked if they ran a camera or pro grade snake in the drain their representative stated they do not do any of that because it can become expensive to the customer ($600) and if there was any further issues that I could call back and they would come back out.” Which I admittedly understood to mean that it would be another service call and would be charged for it. Though I appreciate her watching out for my budget on this property, this was one time that I would have entertained an upscale in services just to be on the safe side. To me, this was a lazy approach to the problem and the company did the bare minimum. When I expressed this and that it would have been more professional to call me from the property while the plumber was on site, the representative stated “You didn’t ask us to do that.” MIND BLOWN! I told the rep that I’d just pay the service fee and hung up the phone. There is obviously an issue with their representatives concept of customer service. I am sure that they can be a good company to work with, because I have worked with them before, but looking at the there reviews I can attest to the frustration and dissatisfaction that others have had. At the end of the day I paid the service fee, but as a property and business owner in the field of residential and commercial real I will not do business with or recommend Low Tide again.

Would not repair a wall they damaged. Did not get back to me to tell me what they would or would not do all, although they said they would get back. When kristen called finally after I went back through Palmetto Electric to complain about them not getting back to me. She just talk over me and kept going. Both of the above are signs of a company that does not really care about customer service. Do not recommend using them, and if you do watch everything they do or they may leave you with a problem, like they did me. Oh, by the way, the manager was the one who supposedly came out, and you could tell from his attitude he wasn’t interested in doing anything to fix the problem, claiming the damage was there all along. My 8 year old water heater broke and these folks came out within 24 hours, diagnosed the problem, had parts on the truck and I had hot water again. Great service. Nice folks

Very unprofessional and rude today when I called to ask about help with some plumbing needs. I’ve used Low Tide in the past, but never again. The person who answered the call was rude and abrupt. She would not let me finish my comment about the work I wanted to schedule. When this economy returns to normal, and rude service providers start wondering where the customers went, it will be their own fault. Find someone else who knows how to treat customers for your plumbing needs.

Fastest and best on Hilton Head. I imagine Bluffton the same. Craig was the most professional and articulate plumber I’ve spoken within 15 years. With a courtesy call of 20 minutes out everybody was happy:) Thanks girls and boys!

Super nice and helpful! The gentleman who came by to fix things up was also very kind to my cat. 🙂
