I have hired Ladd’s plumbing four times; the first time was to repair 2 hose bibs on the outside of my house. They installed two new hose bibs which were exactly the same that were on before, then the new hose bibs were leaking before the first winter was over. The second job, one of their employees took it as a side job of his own, during a weekend, without knowledge of Ladd’s plumbing I gather. A hitch under my mobile home had fallen onto the line that runs out to the septic tank and crushed it, that job cost me $1500 to fix, which was venery generous pay in my opinion, for the work involved. Then the third job was to fix the water lines under our second bathroom sink, one of the valves had stopped working so you couldn’t shut the hot water off. This job, the third one is the only one I am happy with, they charged me $120 to fix it, and I was satisfied. Then the fourth and final job, I called to ask them if they would fix the outside hose bibs again, since they didn’t seem to last the first time they “fixed” them, it took “Joe” I think his name was 5 minutes to replace the washers in the front and back hose bibs, and he wanted to charge me $150 to fix the cheap hose bibs that they installed not too long ago. I complained and Joe lowered the price down to $120, which was ok, but still very expensive, seeing how I had already bought both of these bibs, brand new from them, just a year or so ago. The problem with this fourth job is that two days after Joe “fixed” them again, they were already both leaking and you can’t get them to shut completely off. I am upset about the last job, because they tried overcharging me for something they didn’t even fix, and they use cheap parts that don’t last, and I won’t be hiring Ladd’s again because of this.

Of course my water heater would go out on a holiday weekend! I called several companies, all who told me that they couldn’t come out until Wednesday. Ladd’s was able to get to me today, and for nearly half the price.

We used Ladd’s to replumb the entire underside of our home in January, 2018. We recently learned they grossly overcharged us and did not perform the work we thought we paid $1620.00 for. Since it was under our house, we would not know until we had another plumber out to fix some of the many remaining issues. They left the old pipe under the house, and charged us double what it should have cost. I am extremely unhappy and do not recommend anyone use this company.

Chris was very professional and courteous, he gave us an estimate then came out the very next day. He helped work through any issues and stayed with it until the job was complete. We will be calling Ladd’s again for our plumbing needs.
